  • Despite the propoganda yayayaya, fact is Germany had no such reluctance to enter into war sending emissarys to concerned parties,Austria forced her hand.Such details always remain burried in political shadows after all the victor rewrites history...

  • @Rekreated1 true that

  • ok, now i get it. thanks man, is much appreciated.

  • can someone help me out here? i still dont understand why a murder caused ww1?

  • @MICHELLEEVANS33 The Archduke Franz Ferdinand was the crown prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Think Prince Charles to the UK, next in line to the throne. He was assassinated by a terrorist group called the Black Hand which was supported by Serbia. Austro-Hungarian's were clearly pissed & declared war on Serbia. Russia went hold it, Serbia we got your back, France went hold it, we got Russia's back. Germany went hold it, we got Austro-Hungary’s back. Hence The Great War.

  • @JimmyG228 stop bullshitting you obviously fail at knowing anything about the black hand. Dragutin Dimitrijevic Apis was the leader of the group and they wanted a greater serbia they were NOT supported by serbia. Austria hungary had bad relations with Serbia for quite some time since the assasination of the pro german king and there true goal was to reach the middle east trough Serbia to get oil... thats he truth.

  • @TheSpyMaster100 There is no need to use language like that. I was summarizing what I was taught in history. I personally doubt my history professor was lying about the Black Hand & it's connections with Serbia. The assassin was linked to the Bland Hand, that is fact. So excuse me for summarizing facts.

Now get down off your high horse & take a chill pill, you prick.

  • @MICHELLEEVANS33 I hope that explanation helps ya.

  • @MICHELLEEVANS33

It was just excuse to bring "cold" war toward "hot" war....

  • Men go to war and die, while women in USA bitch about unfair treatment. Can't make this shit up.

  • Of all the wars in history, I wish I could have been in this one :))

  • @PapagenoJuan2 Why this one?

  • @JimmyG228 I dont know. I have had a strange obsession about this war, ever since I was a kid. Maybe it was how cool their helmets were, or the fact they fought in trenches or it was the first war that a revolution collapses an empire. There was something about WWI I couldnt never understand :))

  • @PapagenoJuan2 I see. I like the Second World War. I like the idea no one outside the US & Quebec questioned if it was necessary to fight. Evil needed to be defeated & the war really brought together the whole world, unlike the end of the Great War.

  • People, who thinks WW1 was a conspiracy done by financiers, lacks aptitude to understand how basic finance works or logic. Financiers can make a profit in a war when you know well enough who the victors are. It just crazy for financiers to spark a war at the scale as WW1 since the risks are incomprehendible.

The blame of WW1 clearly lies with the ideologically blinded and scheming politicians of the time and an over zealous military. People get bored with truthes so posters make up their own.

  • Shut the fuck up

  • World War Ones purpose was to cause a depression in who ever was to be the loosing nation so that a tyrant (Hitler) would come to power to cause world war 2 (both sides funded by the rothschilds in both wars). This was to cause the cold war which never ended. It's all a plan that has been in the works for hundreds of years, possibly thousands. This is not just a recession now. We are being brought down by design. The New World Order is real. WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

  • @d3ltadrive yeah, yeah, yeah do some more crystal buddy.

  • @d3ltadrive

are you retarded? or just joking?

i hope the latter but i fear the first

  • @d3ltadrive So should I go buy some aluminum foil?

  • a full time job.. 50 hours a week..at a pizzaria

  • World War I and Guitar? I'm ok with this.

  • Anytime anyone comes up with "The Secrets of WHATEVER," you know that it's just going to be one big pile of narcissistic hype and drivel with some self-ass rape thrown in for good measure.

  • Trench warfare was certainly a main cause of huge casualties in the wwi

  • U-boats are German submarines right?

  • @gogokoko95 Yes

  • @gogokoko95 It's short for unterseeboot, 'undersea boat'. A submarine.

  • So the death of ONE FREAKING PERSON start two world wars! ( world war 1 led to world war 2)

  • fuck the world 4 world war i my greatgrandfather almost died of pioson gas in the trenches

  • Just like the Japanese were trying to do in WW2, make they're country greater.

  • Pathetic doc.

  • @ulaghchi whats wrong with it?

  • WW1 wasn't about stopping a hell-bent and bitter nation led by a mad man like WW2. WW1 was for the supremacy of Europe and colonial powers through-out the world. It was to see who the greatest of the world powers. The German Empire was a great nation of culture, and learning. They were simply trying to do what all the other world powers were doing in the Victorian age to WW1 with the spread of nationalism, make they're country greater.

  • Serbia / Kosovo = NATO is still involved.

    American were not so important,,,BEAUTY

  • Gabrilo Princip was NOT a serbian citizen. He was from Bosnia and organizacion names ,,Jung Bosnia'', because Bosnia was anektet from Autria (1906-1908) the couldent decler war on they own territory.Becous of that they want to send to serbia the police to invesigate.23.06.1914 they send that ultimatum.Serbia was not involved in that and they refuse and they decler war on Serbia.......

  • The mix of this old history with the rock music is very interesting....

  • THE ROTHSCHILDS ARE THE PROBLEM!

  • @babashroud now it is the crazy channel.

  • @babashroud

    and hairy bikers

  • Back in time when History Channel wasnt overuned by Ancient Aliens crap!

  • I have to admit, Britain, throughout the country's history, got very good in doing some "dirty" business.

  • history channel is cool

  • Woodrow Wilson was one of the worst presidents EVER !!!! Racists, globalists, zionist piece of shit.

  • The Turkish map on 4:28 is wrong. The Ottoman Empire lost the Balkans in 1912. The WWI started in 1914.

  • @JimmyG228 Around 1918, the social situation in Germany was similar as the American situation at the end of Vietnam War. In 1918, the German elite was unable to handle the civil unrest / disorder and pacifist movements at home , they had to ask armistake like the americans did later in Vietnam.

  • Oriphym - you probably cannot compare the "Banana Wars" ....as you call them.... with taking on the German Army of 1917 with three years of experience of a totally different kind of warfare. Have a look at the BBC's "Great War" for a pretty balanced neutral view .......in my opinion. It also dismisses this videos sinplistic singular view of the cause of the War - Princip. Regards.

  • This documentary, while I wouldn't say it's atrocious, glosses over several aspects of the US participation. Namely the USMC. While the Army might not have been up to par at the time of US entry, the Marines had significant combat experience in the Banana Wars prior to WWI, and many of their enlisted and commissioned personnel were exceptionally battle-hardened from their time in China, the Philippines, and Central America. The Battle of Belleau Wood was won in large part thanks to the Marines

  • U forgot us ? 1917 World War One

more than 330 000 english, french, and serbian troop attach bulgarian positions near Doiran

The hardest attack is taken by Pleven's fifth infantry division, lead by general Vladimir Vazov

In the critical moment the bulgarians attack with bayonets .. and win... 1916 - win vs Romania ; 1913 Odrin(turkey) - the bulgarians captured 16 turkish flags for 1 day ; 1917 - france attacks on of the bulgarians flank and the whole battalion is killed by 3 machine guns..

  • serbia took the first victory of the war, was first to defeat 2 central powers, and went through the worst ordeal any country can an was victorious.

    glory to our heroes

  • @asf4321 Serbian army refugeed to the greek island of Corfu in 1916. Serbia was captured

  • @celebration81 Only after it was invaded By Austria Hungary, Germany and Bulgaria at the same time, and after inflicting devastating damage to three Austro-Hungarian offensives, and driving the back over the border.

  • it's funny because nobody talk's about WW1

  • @Born2Flesh knowledge is not common these days. and people are extremely intelligent but do not have an ounce of wisdom.

  • to all involved: please read "black lamb and grey falcon" by rebecca west for a FULL explanation of the situation in the balkans.

  • tell to the Idiot who made this doc that Albania was an indipendent nation in 1914 ...dont incorporate in in the ottoman empire ....recheck your maps dump ass!!!!

  • This so called history documentary is so wrong and loaded full of shit it makes me laugh my ass off. Its closer to being US propaganda then actual history.

All who watch this... question everything this show tells you until you can prove it factual by a credible sources. This show is farrrrr from credible.

  • What parts are not credible? I'm doing research, so I want the truth. Please point me to the areas of the video that is not credible. ...please?

  • ...I find that had to believe because the battle was a victory and a turning point of the war in favour of Britain and France. The Canadians were able to take Vimy Ridge that month at the north flank of the battle which was a huge tactical blessing because it was the highest ground in the area. Also casualties for Britain & France were much higher then 40,000. Try 158,000

At 0:40 the guy talks about a few major battles that were losses for our allies. The last battle he talks about he says..."

  • ..."The British suffered enormous losses at the Third Battle of Ypres or Passchendaele in the fall of 1917". One the British didn't fight the Battle of Passchendaele, it was the Canadians & AnZacs. And lastly it was a victory for the Canucks. Sorry that was 0:40 of part 4

At 1:10 part 4 this guy talks about the Germans haven beaten the Russians in Spring 1917 transferred troops to the Western Front and "pushed the British back". Well that offensive didn't happen until March 1918 & the...

  • ... Germans pushed not only the British but French & the newly arrived US troops back dozens of miles.

At 8:14 part 4 the narrator is talking about America’s allies suffering high casualties in 1917 as US troops are training. The narrator says, "…the allies were suffering terrible losses at the Second Battle of Ypres & at Passchendaele". News flash for the narrator, the Second Battle of Ypres didn't happen in 1917 while US troops were training. It took place over 2 years before in April 1914.

  • A guy at 0:20 part 5 says by May 1918 the Germans were winning the war. Wrong! By the end of May their spring offensive had ended in epic failure. The British & Empire lines with some French lines took most of the push by the Germans. However with the German offensive ending in failure that meant they had nothing left but to find a way to save face with peace. Germany had no more troops to fight & was bankrupt by the summer 1918. US troop didnt take a large role in the fighting till after that.

  • @JimmyG228 "However with the German offensive ending in failure that meant they had nothing left but to find a way to save face with peace." It is not based on the power of allies, but rather the growing civil unrest/disorder in Germany, which was organised by socialist and maverick parties in Germany.

  • @celebration81 I agree fully that had more to do with the down fall of Germany at the time, however I was speaking of strictly a military stand point regarding that quote of mine. Hard to rely the full story with limited room eh and voiding rambling. I do however support your statement fully, very good point.

  • @JimmyG228 Believe me, The Entente wouldn't be able to win without the U.S.A. Did you know that the Eastern front of Entente collapsed at the end of 1916? (Russia Romania Serbia)

  • @celebration81 Yes I do know that. I've studied the war for years. Did you know that most those fresh troops that were transferred to the west were wiped out in Germany's spring offensive? US had a very small role in repelling the offensive. Australia had a larger role in the battle then the US. Fallowing that failed offensive the was unwinnable for Germany.

US involvement sped up the end of the war, but did not insure it. We won the war militarily & economically before the US took a large role.

  • @JimmyG228 American army was less important than american industry. Don't forget the ernomous industrial strength of the USA in the era. It was a determinant factor in the end of ww1.

  • @JimmyG228 Did you know that the so-called real economy and GNP (not GDP) of Britain and France together were less than itself the German real economy+GNP?

  • @celebration81 You claim the US had a large/huge industry. I don't dispute that, but explain why the US had to reply on the French, British & even Canadians to supply its army. The US was only able to supply its army with field guns & some (very little) heavy guns. All its plane, tanks, most its heavy guns were either British, French or Canadian supplied. The US had a hard time supplying troops with rations even. Pathetic for a country with such a so called large industry eh.

  • @JimmyG228 Believe me, Britain had bacward industry in German and US standards. We don't speak about the industrial output of Canada, even Kingdom of Hungary had much larger industry than Canada in the early 1900s. How many dreadnought battleship or submarines was made by Canada? Speak about Canadian designed/developed machineguns and airplanes (you manufactured them after british licences).

  • @celebration81 Canada had a large industrial development in the Great War, sure it was small next to the US but it was large enough to supply more to the UK then the US did in the war. Mind you it was by a small margin, but more is still more. News flash, the Kingdom of Hungary was part of the Astro-Hungarian Empire in the war. So of course it produced more then Canada, it was an Empire. Lastly of course most of Canada's building licenses were British, Canada was & still is a dominion of the UK.

  • @celebration81 Germany had a very large industry supported by strong economy in 1914. By fall 1917 with the German High Seas Fleet losing the Battle of Jutland & the highly effective British block-aid of the North Sea, Germany was in economic down fall. By Christmas 1917 Germany could only support 1 last spring offensive before full economic collapse. Which the British & French stopping the offensive derisively. By May Germany was done, bankrupt, people staving in the streets, outta troops. Done

  • @JimmyG228 Battle of Jutland was inconclusive. WHY? Because the german ammo had stronger detonative force than British, and the quality of the armour of German ships were better. Brits could compensate only with their higher number. Brits lost more sailors and ships and British ships suffered more serious damages.

  • @celebration81 You need to read more into the battle then just stats. Despite the German High Seas Fleet reeking havoc on the Royal Navy, the British gain a tactical victory by stopping the German fleet from reaching open waters. The Royal Navy upheld it effective block-aid on Germany & it was never challenged again on that scale. At the end of they day the battle changed nothing, which was the goal of the British.

All your arguments are weak cuz you don't know what you're actually talking about

  • @JimmyG228 Brits were unable to win against german navy in that battle. Despite the germans have fewer ships and germans have less ships the brits were unable to win the situation which was a shame for British navy. Why? Because german industry used higher level of technology than Brits. Believe me German and American factories have 10 years average technological advance over the British factories. It is ernomous difference

  • @celebration81 Did you even read my last comment? The Royal Navy maintain its dominance of the North Sea, which meant the British managed to maintain it's effective block-aid of Germany. Despite there not being a clear winner or loser, the German High Seas Fleet failed in its attempt to make it into open waters. Hence why I brought up the battle when arguing that we defeated Germany before the US took a large role in the fighting. Germany was block-aided throughout the whole war, it crushed her.

  • @celebration81 British scientific development decayed in the 1890's. There aren't important British inventions in the XX.century. Even Hungarian scientist changed more the world between 1885-1945 than Brit scientists and inventors.

  • @Born2Flesh This show's whole idea of the US saving the war for the British & French is a bunch of crap.

US troops didn't start taking a large role in the fighting until the summer 1918. By then the Ottoman Empire & Austro-Hungarian Empire were requesting peace cuz they had lost the war. Germany was buying time for a better peace agreement, the Kaiser was hardly hanging on to power & was ousted that October & Germany was fully in bankruptcy. Canada, Serbia & Austria had a larger role then the US

  • thank you

  • @JimmyG228 yep we got stabbed in the back...ever wonder why US people so aganist Hitler yet refuse to first another European War....well say 1918 over 2 millions US troop in France, 3 million more due to ship over....early clashes with crappy used weapons was over, new BARS, THOMPSONS, and brownings were on the docks already, Henry Ford fix bottle neck of Aircraft engine manufacture and now thousands of US made planes soon to come....then, THEN europeans said let have a armistice...asses

  • civcity2: Churchill was very active in WW I. Both as a statesman & a military officer.

  • @stljarvis also my church is on a hill

  • chirchle was ww2 not ww1?

  • I love how people deate about the Americans helping or the French doing this and that. Who cares really? What's done is done, the Germans didn't win thats the bottom line. And none of us was actually there so anything any of us say means jack shit.

  • These imposter "Jews" had White killing White and Christians killing Christians on a global scale, and these same Elitist already had control of The Banks of Europe and those in the USA. Rothschild and the Zionist had the Balfour Declaration, Germany and Europe had been looted and destroyed, and only two(2) years later British soldiers were dying in Palestine. Fractional Reserve Banking, Bolshevism, Zionism, Poland and Croatia, Slavery in the Americas, The US Federal Reserve... SEE IT?

  • @Born2Flesh conspiracy theories were so 2008

  • It's known history, not conspiracy. You can find every example I gave by reading and doing the research. ALL COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

  • @Born2Flesh

so was the jews causing pagan europeans to kill one another during the roman empire fighting france and greece ?

  • I don't know....do you have some research?

  • JEWS JEWS JEWS behind every war revolution , financial crisis, slavery.... expoliation of germany by the jews, the genocide of 40 million christians by the jews the real holocaust, F D Roosevelt a NWO jew pushed WWII and sent millions of gentiles to death. the jewish goal of a Zionist state would be built on the blood of millions. blood thirsty "race" Talmud says non jews are animals , cattle, th wealth of the nations belong to the jews, in tjeir own words: we are the destroyers

  • This documentary is largely exaggerated half-truths and lies. It claims Sarajevo "set off a powderkeg." Nothing could possibly be further from the truth. It claims America's attempts to broker a peace failed because "too many people had died," a rather nonsensical statement, since a peace was desired by Germany later, after many more had died. It also makes big claims for British propaganda, but that's total BS. America was always pro British, even before the first British propaganda item

  • @theBike45 have you ever heard of a guy called Benjamin Freedman?

  • americans were tricked to world war 1, the german u.boat sinking american civil cruiser was fake and its official history that it was a conspiracy

  • @samullel This is nonsensical gibberish. America entered World War 1 for a multitude of reasons, none of them "manufactured." This documentary grossly exaggerates the effect of British propaganda and fails to mention the atrocities that Germany did commit in Belgium, which were very real. It also totally ignores

the actual events that drove Wilson to ask for a declaration of war, something he had managed to avoid for years. The Germans stupidly believed nothing would push America into war

  • @theBike45 What is gibberish is taking the extreme view for either side. Yes, Germany invading Belgium was a war crime. And no doubt Wilson is too often portrayed as some war mongering evildoer when the Germans hung themselves with their Mexico campaign. But are you seriously arguing that Britain and France were somehow good guys not manufacturing excellent propaganda and the banks weren't leaning on Wilson by 1917? If so, I'd love to know the color of the sky in your world.

  • The propaganda campaign in the mainstream media to brainwash the American public continues to this day and it is more intense than ever. And the public thinks they hear objective "news".

  • i hate nationalist talks on youtube, stop it people

  • POLAND first to fight!

  • @Jastinnnna Lol, Poland didn't even exist anymore

  • It's wrong to speak of a population of millions under a single word-label. Americans, Germans, Russians, Japanese, etc. really don't exist--aside from the governments who use those label-names to conduct business AND the people who have no choice but to be ruled by those governments.

  • @parafleet Ridiculous. Governments are only the structure for lawmaking. Culture, history, language make those words real, NOT the government.

  • @cavaleer "American," in America, now refers to who the American government defines itself against based on who it's fighting in the larger world. Americans, if you talk to them individually, and if they aren't white, will qualify their American-ness. I am only an American when I pay taxes or get drafted or get bombed by an irate person living under the Russian governmental hierarchy. I am an American for my government. My government is not American for me.

  • @parafleet You, like these fools to whom you refer, are clueless. But if you're talking to immigrants who don't know the first thing about Stars and Stripes and have no blood in this soil, it makes sense. But if it's so "bad" to be in America WTF are they doing here in the first place? Your argument holds no water and sounds like some socialist/communist divisive bullshyt. And for the record I don't know ANY real Americans who think the way you talk. Maybe some immigrants might...

  • @cavaleer I can't hear you; you are pissing at a desk fan.

  • @parafleet lol...Like I said you're clueless and talking just to be running your mouth.

  • @cavaleer Like I didn't say, "it's your way or the highway."

  • @parafleet Actually you made the gross general statement that my American-ness is somehow a figment of my imagination and that I'm just a pawn of the "government". If that's the way you feel about your country, cool. That's not the theory or the reality of America. And this government of which you speak, has been tampered with behind the scenes for some time now. Clearly, it's NOT what Americans expect or what the Founders planned. So it's on US to fix it. No one else.

  • @cavaleer Actually, using many words doesn't make your prejudiced opinion any more believable than it was a few days ago. It wasn't. It isn't.

  • @parafleet I'm "prejudiced" because I dismiss your superficial bullshyt talk about MY country? Dude, take that limp-dyk faggot PC shyt somewhere else.

  • Hold on just a friggin minute...

Why does a documentary about WWI have a heavy-metal soundtrack?

Are there a lot of metal heads who are history buffs? Seems like an odd demographic to chase.

  • Wtf! You want america to be buried in 20 years from now or what ever im american but im not pretty happy from what im seeing

  • i keep on seeing people saying america is crappy. This means that America has been compared to other countries. Which countries are better than America then and why? Im not american so don't include some lame 'you americans' bit.

  • @108Dax I thought about that for a while, and I decided on Russia and some thirld world countries because of their less outer-manipulative and bloody histories.

  • @TheSevenCamels are you talking about WW2 russia or maybe Rwanda? Or perhaps the Khmer Rouge (Cambodia). Which type of country do you want? The one that manipulates on you behalf since you are it's citizen or the one that kills you because you are it's citizen?

  • @108Dax "The one that manipulates on you behalf since you are it's citizen" I hope you realize it was because of US manipulation in Cambodia that the Khmer Rouge came to power and in the 1980s, after they were kicked out of power by the Vietnamese, the Khmer Rouge was given a seat at the United Nations by America as well as money, food and weapons. Do you want a country that does those kind of things on your behalf?

  • @1Dougy85 do you want to be a citizen of a country that manipulates other countries on your behalf or do you want to be a citizen of a country that is being manipulated by another country that knows how to do it?

  • @108Dax Neither

  • @TheSevenCamels You would need to choose a country that is on the same socio-economic level. Doesnt help you say Lesotho is better because they dont manipulate or invade other countries. It should be one of the top 10 powerful countries at least.

  • @108Dax I suppose you're right. America is just as bad as every other major country around. Britain has an awful history, too. :<

  • @TheSevenCamels thats correct. There is nothing especially bad about America so ppl should stop moaning all the time and making America out to be the great evil. If I could choose which citizen I would be then I would be American born. The country spends a lot of money to secure the interests of its people.

  • @108Dax I think it's more that many American peoples expect their country to be perfect, and when they find out it isn't, they start raging.

  • @TheSevenCamels At least the citizens maintain a high standard. They expect their government to perform. When the citizens become too lax and accepting then it makes it possible for dictators to rise to power. I am very glad for the uprisings happening against dictators across the world. The goverments need to remember that they are servants of the people. Modern goverments sometimes confuse themselves with monarchies.

  • I,m an historian ... this series says nothing new ...

  • why are all Americans so overly patriotic? i meen from were i'm sitting your country seems pritty shit. your economy will be dead and buried in 20 years or so, you have the highist obisity levels in the world, everyone hates you. if i were American i would be ashamed not proud =)

  • god i hate America so much. i can't wait to see your country crushed and reduced to nothing

  • @Daleksaresupreme1 you abosolute clown. America or the despots that populate the World/? I'll choose America every time. Be careful what you wish for you fool.

  • When a 'documentary' asserts that the Archduke was assasinated in August 1914 it's hard to take it seriously.

  • My great grandfather almost single handed, won the first world war. He killed all round him with one hand tied behind his back . He recieved lots of medals and some pussy too.

  • Also, note that the U.S. only declared war in April 1917, after the Czar was overthrown. Therefore, Wilson could claim that this was a war of democracies fighting against autocracy. (Note: I am an American)

  • back than usa was normal country when you see at that time on

american tv program they always showed happy american family good movies

and today all american all fat and dumb

  • THATS i mean

  • hats funny it was war to end all wars did that ever happen no

  • fuck you all american numbs, looking this video to see history?

just take a look on iraque on the early days, wath you have to say, stupid heros.

wath about all south america, fucking cowards...america isnt evil...bla bla...

every time you see a powerfull state, you see slaves...always was like that ...

power isnt for conquer but to destroy.

america is all about military power and manipulation...

  • @mmike222 Que?

  • @mmike222 Just like every other empire before it. This is the way the world works lol. Until America falls, they are the big dogs right now. Just as the British were before us, just as the Ottomans and Byzantines and Romans were before them lol. Every Empire is a killing machine, you think JUST America is evil? The whole world is evil man. The only thing you can do is TRY to stand for what you believe in for your self and put effort into a better world. Now go learn how to spell.

  • The jewish New York Times lied about the Lusitania which had ammunition on it to get the US into the war.

  • No matter what the British Imperial and French revisionists say. They did fight the most and suffered the most but without American military support, Germany would most likely have won the war. We did not start the war. We did not want the war. We certainly would have liked to stay neutral but once we go in we were committed to winning the war. Once done we went home.

  • @dthdc4 The problem is that the US turned their back on Europe after the war. They didn't ratify the Treaty of Versailles, they didn't join the League of Nations and they refused a defensive alliance with Britain and France. That upset the British, who also refused to join and made France feel betrayed, which set the stage for great hatred, isolation and tensions, leading eventually to another Great War. The US did great militarily, but fucked up bigtime politically

  • @LangeE612 Turned their back? The truth is the Europeans, typical ingrates that they are, were happy to see us go. Moreover the feeling after the way the acted was that the tricked the US into war in the first place. The Europeans wanted territory, revenge, and financial compensation from their enemies. This was something the US never wanted for itself. Moreover they refused to pay their war debts. If anyone "fucked up big time politically" it was the British and French.

  • @dthdc4 Once again, it was the British Empire that won the war.

You should be clear on which Europeans wanted territory, revenge and compensation, also, the US would have wanted the same if it went through the same as France did. If it makes you feel any better Britain had bigger loans to others than it did to the US that other countries refused to pay.

  • @dthdc4 And what do American revisionists like yourself say? You really must take a closer look at WW1. Germany would not have won the war, they gave it their best shot in their spring and summer offensives and were spent after that. The Americans helped a little and it is clear, because the help was small, that the Germans still would have been stopped and the allies still would have won. We've been over this already, I don't think you know how little the US was involved.

  • To all the people who say AMERICA CAME IN LATE?Well we also didnt start the war.We just ended it.

Yeah, sure. You really won the war for us, didn't you? We couldn't have done it without you guys!

  • @commando2224 You didn't end the war, you were there at the end.

  • @1Dougy85 the allies were at a stalemate. Then they started advancing dont tell me shit you dont know.

  • @commando2224 You don't have to get nasty now. But you are right, the allies started advancing after the Germans shot their load.

  • @1Dougy85 thank you.

  • @commando2224 And then American troops also started to advance but by then Germany had already asked for peace.

  • Yep I can see why people don't like to talk about it much, it was so horrible for its time.

    Then again so was WW2!

Also did you know that the Armenian Genocide took place in WW1?

  • @mamc1986 There was never Armenian genocide. It is a lie of Armenians to demand a territory from Turkey. It is proven.

  • Fuck America, they came in so late
