Hi Can you make a tuto where you explain how to do the stardust (shooting stars) please, please, and please ! thanks ! Happy to see this result ! a French Motions Producer
@sekteur We posted detailed instructions of how to make the particles on Creative Cow. I can send you a direct link if you message me, or you can go to the Creative Cow After Effects forum and search for post 965813
@ilan8lahav Hi, I wanted to know how to put the video in the graphic frame. i have the same project but just don't know how to use it. Thanks for all your help
@saltyworm18 No additional plugins required. All our menu templates use the effects built in with After Effects or come with the pre-rendered effect such as our Regal Cinema template does.
@saltyworm18 It does work on Mac, and with Final Cut/DVD Studio Pro, however, you do need Adobe After Effects to customize and render the motion menus. Photoshop is required to customize the cover and label templates.
ya compre las plantillas como bajo la musica que se oye de fondo ya que me gusta esa tengo las 7 plantillas te agradeseria me ayudaras ya que me gusta ese fondo de audio
@Shovelware We have no plans of making a tutorial on creating an entire template like this, however, you are welcome to purchase the template and analyze how the project was created.
@MrEklipze This is not really a mistake, but was originally left in because this is where the transition begins, and the background particles would have "jumped" anyways once the transition began. The menu will seamlessly loop though (end frame of menu matches exactly with start frame). We have released a newer version of the menu which does not contain this harsh jump when played straight through like it is in this preview.
@Ionut2401 You can author the motion menus in any program you like, however, we only provide button templates prepared for Adobe Encore and DVD Studio Pro. You would have to modify the Encore templates to work with your authoring application. We do not provide support on how to modify them, we only provide support and tutorials for Encore and DVDSP.
@Precomposed How would you set for example special features to play from that exact point because the movie clip of the animation is in the middle of the video
@lynchy8888 This is not possible, as this is a limitation of the DVD and Blu-ray format. However, you can mask this slight jump creatively, by using fade-in/out of audio at the beginning and end of menus/transitions, and by having a motion background that has only subtle movement. The jump goes almost unnoticed.
The built-in plugin, CC Particle World, was used to create the sparkles... and of course, lots of tweaking of the individual parameters was done to it
I've tried tweaking all settings mentioned on you're website...that made rendering even slower...some of the comp's estimated rendering time is 48hrs!?
Flourishes were created using the write-on effect in addition to scaling and rotating of many layers. They were rendered as a PNG sequence to make rendering go faster for the menu, and because PNG sequences compress much better than quicktime animations.
It's an extremely good investment for any video production company. Worth it for just a single job, let alone the fact that it can easily be used over and over again. Want more variety? Other menus are available.

With what effect you've used the white flames animation.
I mean the white STROKE opening video to DVD.
Is all done only with the WIGGLE
ilan8lahav 10 months ago
@ilan8lahav The Roughen Edges effect was used for the flame border, with it's evolution keyframed.

Hi, the video is just Great !!!
I downloaded your free tutorial, and i noticed that you are using PING flourish files, instead of write-on effect.
Did u created them with write-on and then turned into PING files???? Thanks
hakob82 2 years ago
Flourishes were created using the write-on effect in addition to scaling and rotating of many layers. They were rendered as a PNG sequence to make rendering go faster for the menu, and because PNG sequences compress much better than quicktime animations.
