Hey sword6204, thanks for the great comments, questions and suggestions, which are all appreciated. I did name it the Rocket when I drew up the plans and built the guitar more than fifteen years ago. The head stock is supposed to look like a fighter jet or something. The head stock shape forced me to install two tuners backwards, which are a little quirky, but workable. (And creates a pretty severe angle for the first and sixth strings as they pass over the nut). More to come in a video response
Just thought of something, do you have a name for it yet? Kinda looks like a rocket ship. Also, how long ago did you make it? You need to check out the first image that shows up on Google Images now, pretty funny.
Nice design. And that headstock is Killer! Must've been hard trying to get the tuning just right. Just noticed the 1st and 6th string tuners pointing back. Nice. Sounds great, too.
