he's right buddy. u realize tabs are written by absolutely anybody in this world and they may have the notes right, but they may not know shit about effects, so they go "well this sounds like wah, why the hell not label it wah"

he just cranks up distortion for the solo. the only thing that this cover is "missing" (its a great cover) is i think frush uses either chorus or maybe spring reverb during the verse one of those times. im pretty sure its one of those. but i cud be wrong.
