i'm working on it - and when you take over a fully functioning country and run it into the ground all you are doing is raping your own country. look at zimbabwe, the bread basket of africa and now it needs foreign aid. why can't ppl realize that placing untrained / uneducated ppl in important positions is going to cause issues. the majority of black south africans are worse off - unemployed and starving - how have you helped them?

OMG. I'm sorry you may think I'm a moron, but I live in America and we'e NEVER heard about all this shit going on in the news. If we ever hear anything about Africa it's about how it's so unfortunate and AIDS plagued. This is horrible. Until yesterday, I've thought Nelson Mandela was a great man. I'm telling everyone I know about the giant hypocrisy that is the ANC. I feel terrible for anyone living. And thats not just whites. Blacks who are not in power must also be suffering I presume.

It doesn't matter what race you are, if you are not a member of the ANC, you are at the bottom of the foodchain. But keep in mind that the old regime catered for 4 million, now the transitional government has to cater for 45 million. So of course they had quite a task. I am not justifying corruption and incompetence. I am saying first check the socio-economic pressures that this government is forced to thrive under, its much more complex than just statistics.

itumurwa - I sure as hell don't agree with all these racist videos which try sell how much better off South Africa was under Apartheid. We were financially screwed and we simply had to give up Apartheid. All this bigotry forgets to consider the lives of millions who now earn a good salary and the lives of many who are better off.
