The above post took one portion of my presentation out of context and attempted to make it seem that I was incorrect on a statement I later clarified. I clarified the statement again since this person clearly overlooked it in the video and refused to watch the entirety of the presentation. I then pointed out this process is called quote mining.

But seriously...and to beat a dead horse (AGAIN!!) I really dont get why Creationist/Xtians feel there HAS to be such a battle between science & religious faith. You know I see no such issue; that one does not have to negate the other.
I think the core issue is that "they" are pissed as it is not something beyond their micromanagement.

I explained that the idea behind 'missing links' was false. You altered my claim. I agree gaps can exist and be filled, the idea though is that we will never fill every gap, and that is what the idea missing link tries to imbue into the minds of people.
Anyway, you seem to like proverbs, can you not say in plain english what you mean? And btw saying a statement is true does not make it so, I could say 'There are pink elephants in the sky, it's true!" but all i'm doing is lying twice(or being crazy once).
Whatever implications Evolution have on morality or value mean absolutely diddly squat when it comes to validity. Reality does not conform to your desires of comfort.

Micro and Macro evolution are indeed terms that are coined by, and most commonly used by, creationists when describing what they consider "real" evolution, and "dream" evolution. However, the two different types of evolution DO exist, they are just one in the same. The difference is length of time observed. The terms can be used to help simplify the general concept as well as demote it.

The non-fossilized bones are a misconception, they were calcified... giving them the illusion that they did not decompose or fossilize. (just thought this might help)

You left out the misconception on the statement that "dinosaurs are mentioned several times in the Bible." First of all, the Bible should not be read as a scientific document, but an allegory on moral/ethical discourse. Secondly, there were only a few instances of large beasts in the Bible, that may be interpreted as dinosaurs, but this does not mean they were dinosaurs. Thirdly, correct me if I'm wrong, but since when did mammals live at the same time that the dinosaurs roamed the Earth?
