@712536 No, it's a clear head. There are Ambassadors and Ambassador Snare heads. On the musiciansfriend website it goes by Remo Ambassador Medium Snare Side Head. Hope that helps!
Hi, i just got this kit, and wow i love the sound of your snare..how did you get it to sound like that? Here's the catch..i have a pork pie snare though..
It sounds awesome. I'm about to get a Sensitone Aluminum myself. Everybody recommends the Ludwig supra phonics but I think they're far too expensive for the same drum with shitter hardware.
nice groove man. its so much better to see that some fellow drummers still just 'feel the groove' and let things flow. rather than just thrash everythin like these travis barker wannabes
Great drumming! I'm still stuck between different Sabian hats and the A custom Mastersound. Your hats sound great! So i think i'll go with the zildjians
hey dude, i just got the new sensitone and was wondering how you tune yours, iv tried everything and i keep getting messy overtones and with dampening it sounds way to thudy, any tips? cheers
i would like to be in a band. that would be nice. i've recorded and played in bands before but no one i know really is into it at this point but i have very musical friends. its just that everyone's busy. lol and im left at home with a kit in front of me.
i watched ur other vids. ur amazing. beats are simple but so complex. lol b4 i found ur profile i typed in saves the day cover "at ur funeral" becuase i wanted to watch a band cover of it. and i saw that the drummer was playing different and that he was screwing up the feel of the song. so as i went to comment on it i saw that someone named "drumswack took care of it, u said what was supoosed to be said. and good job for taking care of that "partyfoul94" guy who thought he knew evrything.
haha dude thanks a lot. i appreciate your comment very much. by the way can u give me the link of that vid with partyfoul94? lol cuz i'd probably laugh at my own comment
Very good! Oh, those "paradiddles"...I'm awful at those. If they're slow, that's ok, but I avoid them. They sound really good when played right, though. As soon as I try them at a faster tempo...show's over.
Im sorry I didnt mean that, but you should know that practice makes perfect, You can't just say I rather avoid those paradiddles. If you practice with patience you can do any paradiddle at faster tempos.... I bet you knew that quite well
That's alright, I see what you mean. (This is one of the problems of older words - like ignorant - changing their meaning. Ignorance is simply lacking knowledge of something which I do about lots of things. But these days it tends to be used in an insulting way. I don't believe you meant it as such.
You're right about practicing. I've been bent out-of-shape lately because of my playing. I just finished practicing and my wrists ache. Arthritus is getting pretty bad - but I won't stop trying.
lol play nice. i consider all advice and im willing to try new techniques if they better myself. i cant do it alone! by the way.. i didnt use one paradiddle in the entire video. most were doubles or singles. :)
Again, as posted on another drummer's vid, It's nice to see that I'm not the only Club Mod owner that doesn't play shitty 2&4 punk beats on those beautiful drums. Just so you know, you can special order a 7"x10" add on tom for that kit. Mine is in the mail.
you can usually order extra toms from the shop where you bought the sit - if not - then from any good drum store.. or if you dont know of any then try ringing or going online to some other drum stores that stock those kind of drums.
nice playing by the way - and a great sounding kit!
Nice drumming! I really like your fills - I need to lear those. I am OK on grooves, but not on fills. Any suggestions? I had the Acustom hats and absolutely hated them, then changes out the bottom with the A Custom Masters - now I love them.
I would say learning basic rudiments like flam rudiments, paradiddle rudiments, and singles are key for some pretty good sticking fills. I will come out with new videos soon with that sort of stuff kinda explained lol. but thanks for ur comment!
Damn u're really good!!! my style it's metal and stuff like that, but i love all kinds of drumming styles and u r definitely one of the best drummers i've seen on youtube...keep it up!!!!

I just wanted to know if you put any muffling pillows inside your bass drum
pulse06 3 years ago
I don't use any muffling pillows
drumswack 3 years ago
I like both Evans and Remo drum heads, but the Evans heads don't get scratched as easily. Is it a sign that the Remo heads are worse?
AshDrums7 3 years ago
don't worry about drum heads getting scratched. It's all in the sound, and in the end it is preference.

I would go with the Sabian AAX X-Celerator Hats, i find that the sound comes out better, nicer and it projects definetely better.
