@TheRickmurray never bothered getting a shot when the avian bird flu scare came out. Same goes for H1N1. Funny thing is my own doctor has been trying to push this shot on me anytime I come in to be seen for something else. Don't need the shot and last major strain that put me out for a few days was back in 2004. Body fought it off without medical intervention.

My son got the H1N1 vaccine and I am proud to say i made sure he got it.

He is aspergers and fully vaccinated. His dad is aspergers but never vaccinated. So in his case, vaccines are not an issue.

What is an issue is that he has asthma and other respiratory issues from RSV he had as a baby.

I did come down with H1N1 and it is was like a living death I have no complicated health issues.

Those refusing to vaccinate, keep your kids home when sick. You owe that much to the rest of us.

ALL flu vaccinations have murcury, because it is in the preservative that is used to preserve the vaccine, and there are NO reports of murcury poisoning form ANY vaccine EVER! Right, keep your focus on the short-term effects... forget what's going to happen further in life! Since the introduction of Thimerosal, the rate of Kawasaki syndrome (an autom-immune vasculitis) has rose 20X in USA. And it's primarily a childhood disease. Mercury itself has been linked to cardiovascular disease... but no one EVER seems to make such a connection... especially that idiot that says Thimerosal is totally safe! You think he cares? He's making money and is going to retire soon!

And you are trying to attribute all of this to a flu shot. Could it maybe have something to do with all the processed food, and garbage in the water. Most of the food we eat in America is not even food. It is chemicals put together with a corn paste, or soy paste to create "food". Right, I agree with you on that one... BUT... think about this... if the FOOD (something so vital to your survival) is of such LOW quality... why do you think that a flu shot (that's not even needed for you to survive) is going to be so helpful and without any drastic side effects?

Also, there have been studies done that did show an incrase in Kawaski syndrome after the introduction of Thimerosal.

Besides, in my last comment, I was talking specifically about Thimerosal in the flu shot!

Most of these so-called studies are done in a short amount of time with less than 1000 subjects. There are very few things that this paltry amount of info is going to be able to shed the light of truth on. It can give us directions to further study, but none of these studies can say they know anything more for sure than they did before they started. But an uneducated person hears these things and actually thinks the truth has come out. Sadly, that is rarely the case with studies.

As an example, one of the studies I've read span over a course of 5+ years and took data from hospital admission ALL over the country!

Frustrating for sure, but not far off from reality. What I'm saying is we put too much stock into "official statements". When a study suggests something, many seem to think that it becomes gospel, when even the people who do the study will say it's a study, not a conclusion. Should we continue testing vaccines? You bet! But the reality is a study suggests a possiblity, and that is put under further study, but to jump on what a study may or may not suggest is risky. All facts are not in.

Kids and people who take care of kids really need to get the vaccine. It is just as safe as the regular flu vaccine because it is made the same way, with all the same components. I got the vaccine and I'm perfectly fine.

I see a lab telling everyone that the H1N1 vaccine is the same as all other vaccines, and will work just like all the other ones have, but because it is wide spread, and scares some who cannot comprehend simple fact, we have idiots crying mercury.
