wow, this is a guy who was pressured to quit for years, won 33 pro contests and placing second only once (he entered 34),invented all the modern street tricks (flatground ollie, kickflip,heelflip,varials, 360 flips and just about every other variation of those tricks possible, as well as loads of freestyle tricks that no one does any more. started in 77, has seen 3 generations of skateboarding, was voted all time action sports hero by ESPN and what a nice guy, i only dream to meet him one day!!

It's great, sheds a lot of light on how the modern skating world developed.

One copy of the book was passed along through local skater groups, I had the copy for a while, passed it along a while ago though.

Some people try to make up for their feelings of self-doubt by feeling dominant over people by projecting a certain attitude, etc. For some, they really dig inside of themselves and are able to get the most satisfaction just from what they are able to create, and they don't feel like it gives them power over other people, and this is Rodney. He stayed in love with skateboarding for 30 years.
