  • The engine must be in great shape since it didn't fill the shead with smoke after a cold start.

  • Sounds lovely, takes me back to 16 year old on yts at shelton orsborn, great times

  • Mr Stelmer, are you Stelmer from BCF by any chance?

  • @rtzigga Yeah I am....

  • Cool. I'm TheBassJunky. Looking around for old bus and train videos as you do, came across this - nice to bump into some of the BCF crew on here :)

  • @rtzigga Nice one. I'm sure i'll have more interesting videos to come. I have something interesting planned for next month.

  • An interesting beasts - note that the Leopard is fitted with BMAC rear light units instead of the normal Plaxton 'coffins'. Apparently these were specified on most NBC Plaxton Supreme bodies from 1978 onwards; the similarly-bodied Seddons for Eastern Scottish also had BMAC rear lights, apart from the first 12 which had the rear 'coffins' as they were to touring coach spec.

  • Skip to 04:00 for the start

  • i love that leyland fart

  • Yeah, it was registered in 1979 and it's got a manual transmission. There's no clutch but the gearbox is still there. I don't know who owns it or what it's future is. Alternator turns and there's oil in it so in all likelihood it will run but not drive.

I will find out who owns it and see if they will let me do a video of it. I hate going in it as there's bird poop allover the cabin.

  • What is the white bus to the left of the shed that houses the Leyland?

  • @walshmonster2005 It's a Bristol LH.

  • good stuff!! Nice coach!!!

  • :) Cool!!
