Hey Baz, I have started going to the gym just recently (been 5 months now). My left arm ( particularly my bicept) is significantly weaker than my right. I was just wondering is there any quick way to get it to the same strenght as my right?
@MrBombers2021 - it will catch up. What you need to do is work to the max strength of the weak arm and keep trying to increase the weight when you can. The stronger arm will not work quite as hard so they will balance out. Baz

@AshishKiGandMaro - I have found one set is not enough for training so you will or should be able to do more reps then 12. If you do 12 slow and controlled then have 1 minute rest and do them again repeating this for 5/6 sets you will really struggle on the last set or 2 and that is when you build. When the muscles are fatigued and have to adapt. Baz
@gokutrades - you need to have a look at the nutrition video. You have to eat right to gain the right kind of mass. I would stick to some basic bench press for chest, bicep curls and tricep push downs for arms. To build muscle you need to do 8-12 reps with around 6 sets per muscle. No more than 2 times a week. Baz

@MegaBendz - The fitter and stronger you get the harder it is to get stiff. You have to put in a really top training to get stiff. I normally do chest 5 sets of 8-12 reps. Biceps 5 sets 8-12 reps and triceps 5 sets 8-12 reps. all on the same day. Normally I do this on a monday and then again on a Thursday. Baz

@hhmha1997 - fat covering a muscle will hide the muscle. You will feel the arm should be solid but with a fat layer over it. If you lose the fat you will really see the shape of the muscle. Baz

Well I'm 16 and I'm starting to work out with dumbbells for the first time. I would like to gain size in my arms, more specifically my biceps but also my triceps and forearms. Right now I'm working with 15-20 lb dumbbells. I can do about 8 reps. If I want to gain muscle mass, will I have to keep increasing the weight or the reps?
@BazBlog I keep doing reps of 14kg dumbells and I feel like there is no improvement and when I stretch my arm and massage it, I feel like it just goes straight back to normal.
Am I supposed to do 3sets of 8 curls for each arm every second day and eat heaps of protein / protein shakes for a WHOLE month to see a difference?

@Kev2077 - no one can advise you what weights to use. It will depend on how strong you are. I personally would go very light and do 5 set of 12 reps. Do this for a least 4 sessions. This will mean that you will get quite stiff and once you do not get too stiff with your training increase the weights slightly till you are having to work hard. How old are you as that has a lot to do with how you should train? Baz
@masabkhan - yes any exercise works if you believe and train with focus. You have to work out what is the best for you and do not worry what other people say you should be doing. Make sure your form is correct that is key. Baz

@iLCommentore - you should never train the same muscle more then 2 times a week. They need 48 hours break to rest grow and repair. If you train them every day you will over train them and they will get smaller. Biceps are small muscles so do not over do it. You must be patien aswell. it takes months to see any real growth. Baz

@ManyVideosforyou - There is your problem. You are doing more of an aerobic type of training and it will be very hard to build muscle or gain weight with that kind of training. You will have to eat a great deal to gain weight. I will send you a plan. Baz
@ManyVideosforyou I suggest you look at some of twinmuscleworkout videos they have really good tips on putting on muscle and bulking up for hard gainers/skinny dudes if that's what you want to do. You should check them out, they helped me a lot to put on muscle mass and strength.
@Theguido177 - I think once you get over the initial stiffness then you increase the weight in small amounts on a regular basis. I like to do 5/6 sets of between 8-12 reps per set. That is for each muscle that I work out. Baz

I just bought weights today , What weight should i use on each arm ? i can do the alternating curls with 10kg on right arm and 8 kg on the left , im 17 and like 5'7or something .. someone please help ? thanks

@Kev2077 - no one can advise you what weights to use. It will depend on how strong you are. I personally would go very light and do 5 set of 12 reps. Do this for a least 4 sessions. This will mean that you will get quite stiff and once you do not get too stiff with your training increase the weights slightly till you are having to work hard. How old are you as that has a lot to do with how you should train? Baz

@angphu - you do that with lower reps and heavy weights. That is why the plan I sent you has that in there. You will also need to increase your food intake so you gain weight. Be cautious about the amount of fat that you take in. Focus more on complex carbs. Baz

Hey, I've been doing your exercises for some time now and i can definetly see a result... but my upper body doesnt look "big". I'm not sure if its because im pretty tall (1,96m). Could you give me some tips for getting a "bigger" upper body and gaining muscle weight (at the momemt i weight 73kg) , please? Another question of mine is, how i should eat? I've seen your video about nutrition but its kinda hard for me to understand everything because english is not my mother language.. Hope u reply=)

@iLCommentore - you should never train the same muscle more then 2 times a week. They need 48 hours break to rest grow and repair. If you train them every day you will over train them and they will get smaller. Biceps are small muscles so do not over do it. You must be patien aswell. it takes months to see any real growth. Baz

@BazBlog ok because i do myself like 20-40 biceps up to 60 times a day with like 25lbs same with triceps then ive got this puch thingy 80 times with that aday. chest muscle push ups 20-30times aday situps 50 times aday. is that to much ive gained muscle mass. and alot of muscle sculpture. But will i burn this mass if i contiue doing this? i ate alooooot. of very good food but in my family we are quit slim. but i will try your tips

@ManyVideosforyou - There is your problem. You are doing more of an aerobic type of training and it will be very hard to build muscle or gain weight with that kind of training. You will have to eat a great deal to gain weight. I will send you a plan. Baz

@ManyVideosforyou I suggest you look at some of twinmuscleworkout videos they have really good tips on putting on muscle and bulking up for hard gainers/skinny dudes if that's what you want to do. You should check them out, they helped me a lot to put on muscle mass and strength.

@Theguido177 - I think once you get over the initial stiffness then you increase the weight in small amounts on a regular basis. I like to do 5/6 sets of between 8-12 reps per set. That is for each muscle that I work out. Baz

I have 2 15lb. dumbbells (i dont know how much in kg) are there any good (home) workouts i can do that are good for fat burning? Im not overweight but i have some left over flab on arms, calves, etc. Any ideas?
