  • For most of this footage are you capturing in 30 fps, and then slowing down to what %? Do you use frame blending? Is this captured using progressive scan?

    Great stuff!

  • @mataloha All the footage was captured at 30fps except for the slow motion stuff, which was captured at 120fps, and then played back at 24fps for a smooth slow motion effect. I'm sorry, because this actually isn't a very good demonstration of all the camera's capabilities. I had just gotten it, and was picking my way through it without delving into its various features. I may do another one over the summer, so stay tuned if you're thinking of buying one, and you want more vindication.

  • I used the new iMovie to edit this. I've since installed Final Cut Pro, which is obviously leagues ahead. Frankly, the older version of iMovie was also vastly superior to the new one, which completely lacks precision.
