nice bass solo. i baught a six string bass but never really got to play it because i play guitar mostly. could you please give me a few tips on how i should tune it? with the high c or as standerd tuning like on a guitar? and also a few tips how to play properly cuz mine is frettless

can someone tell me for what is the hair donut(?) that some bassist put near the 1st fret? i've seen it several times and i don't know why they put it there

@shadowrichter it's to cut off the sustain, or like ither like to say 'dull the sound' i recommend to try it yourself and just hear the thing. you can use a hair band.
