@OneDownServer Yes, i also agree. Some musicians spend more time engaging in polemics than practicing or composing. The classical head vs. the jazz head war just breeds opinionated critics who suck at playing or composing. These grandiose assholes should SHOW us what music should be rather than bitch about it.
@OneDownServer Thank you. I don't blame styles because a good composer can truly make great art out of any established style. I don't like the fact that people suck in composition when they have the greatest advantage due to programs like cubase.
@OneDownServer I don't like to categorically judge genres of music, but i strongly agree with your comments. Fusion needs more contrast between chords in their chord progs. This is because of their obsession with extended tones. They should pay more attention to writing compositions than writing exercises in virtuosity, which is what their music sounds like. Yellowjackets comes to mind.
sorry if my comment drove you mad lol, i think that to each his own personal point of view, i prefer fusion over neoclassical ,you dont and that's allright
i prefer his jazz fusion stuff ,it is in this kind of music that you can hear his technical proficiency ,neoclassical metal is very generic everybody plays like malmsteen
Great !!!!!!!!!!!

I love the first motive, even though it is cliche. Altogether, i love this piece.
