i'm french and i love this ride ;) the engine is not that powerfull but the feeling on it rule a ktm....i mean,you can't forget that you seat on a collector first of all !!!
Awesome roads. Which would you recommend, a CCM, or the KTM? I'm considering a KTM690 when I have my full licence (and if I can find a good deal on one). But those CCMs are really mean-looking.
@OoxTruExoO Both have their plus points, CCM's mainly price, you can pick up a really good one for <2k but they are a bit long in the tooth in terms of performance. Overall though, as a road going SM, the KTM 690 series is pretty good well proven machine. For a true Supermoto though (highly strung and less reliable) look Husqvarna 510, KTM 525/450, Honda CRF450, Husaberg, etc fine for Sundays, not so much so for commuting!
Haha this is great, you come about a mile or two within my house (i live just down from Bolsterstone), there are two petrol stations in Stocksbridge by the way just for future reference, one within about a mile of where you were lol! They are my commuting roads :D glorious in summer but a real pain in the arse in winter although i tend to go a different way then haha. Great to see a video from a local place haha.
@dominiclutwyche Like spacenut says above, in ENGLAND! Basically the ones in the video have Suzuki Engines. Quite hi spec WP suspension, brembo brakes, etc. The frames and some other parts are made in Lancashire and UK and that is where the bikes are assembled. Recently they have been rebranding some Chinese smaller capacity stuff as CCM.
