Was this taken in Akihabara? Because I saw a bunch of school guys playing some robot game there, not sure if it was this one. But after the match they stood around the screen and watched the replay, joking and laughing as they charted the robots' progress.

@43oun probably around 500yen. in Hong Kong these are about $25-30HKD(roughly $3-4USD) per game, and generally HK arcades are a bit cheaper than Japanese game centers

This reminds me of the simulator I got in at the Smithsonian Aviation Museum in Washington, D.C. It can do a simulation of barrel roll (flip a person upside down). The rider has full control with a joy stick. The ride was like $18USD for 2 or 3 mins XD
