This was a disaster. I am sorry anyone had to die in this storm. I am a storm tracker and I usually love severe weather but not when it does this kind of stuff. I first learned about this in an episode of Storm Stories.

There is a song by Alan Jackson - Sissy's Song and it would go good with this video. Just audio swap it or something. By the way I live in Dothan and I remember that day. The clouds were so dark. I'm thankful it didn't hit my school but it sucks that 8 people lost there lives in the tornado.

I didn't know Katie but I remember that tornado like it was yesterday because she was my sister in Christ. I saw the headline in the Christian Chronicle online that a girl from a COC died in the tornado. I have not forgotten the date of March 1, 2007 and it will be etched in my mind forever.
It sounds like those of you who knew Katie were blessed by her presence. It is her, along with some others my age I have known, that make me want to live every day to the fullest because it might be my last.

This is terribly depressing. I live about 20 mins from enterprise and I had gone to a few College Avenue COC youth devotional, and I thought that's the church that the funeral pics were at. I feel like I had seen her there before. This is just terribly sad and I hope that everything is going well for the family and I hope that she rests in peace :(
I got the privilage of hanging out with Katie a couple of time because we had mutual friend in Maplesville. Her dad coached there for a short year. She was very sweet and always always had a smile on her face. My heart goes out to you as well as the Strunk family. Always remember she is where we all earn to be. With our heavenly father. I will pray for you.

Wow.... when they said "you don't know what you have till its gone" they really knew what they were talking about. I still cry myself to sleep thinking of how wonderful and amazing she was and was going to be. I hate saying goodbye, she knew that, Christians say see you later right? Katie, I'll see you later, I will never forget you, and i will always miss you. Thank you for everything you've given me.
