@Drumric305 Tito was in on the innovation of and popularization of latin music. If you were alive and on the scene back in the day, would you have had the vision that he had to create something from nothing. He was a dancer and that is why he brought the drums out in front of the band. He moved while he was playing to lead the music and the audience, to keep the music going and take it to new places. Sure there are new, young, up-and-commers that have great technical skills, but he blazed trail.

Certainly a legend, take a look at his friend playing a solo for the Jose Curbello band on the best of Vangardia, His name was Jimmy Lavaca. THis solo is incredible. They both rocked the Paladium in the 40's and 50's
