to prevent it from shocking you, only if you have something thats not a good conductor on you where the tazer hits, if your already getting tazered theres no real way of getting loose, the voltage is just too high for the muscles to move freely, and the current is just high enough so it wont do any permanent damage

Pain-wise it's the same as OC, but it is shorter, so if I had a choice, I'd take the 5 sec. tasing again over OC again. They both suck so bad though.

This shows how safe this is? LOL I guess that's why they held him up, told him to take a deep breathe, made sure he was prepared, slowly lowered him down while he made involuntary muscle contractions and cried in agony, told him to stay down and breathe, and then used latex gloves to take it out. :D Then again, I guess some Americans really will believe it all.
