Funny, how many games I've played and how many of my 'team mates" died. But when they did I'd just *shrug* and move on.
But...when I played Ace Combat 5 and got to really like Chopper, and somewhat depended on his funny comments to get me through missions. After he died....I was SO devestated!!!. It almost felt like I really lost someone important :*(. Why did awesome chopper have to die :*(

I didnt really blame Grabarc and Ofnir for the death of Chopper, and didnt enjoy "killing" them, but they were my enemy, they were on the other side of my goal, and werent going to get out of the way of it, so they needed to be taken out, that's how I view it, the mission is the mission, and if my mission was to shoot them down, they had to be shot down, I'm sure that's how they viewed killing chooper as well, and didnt enjoy killing him as well.

He was really sweet, I liked him much, it was so sad and heartbreaking when he died, it was unexpectable. Just becasue the 8492nd bastards somehow canceled the reinforcements so the Wardog were on their own to face the enemies. really sad.
The Belkans definaly set Wardog up to get killed, and they sadly suceded in getting one, cuz Wardog was so exhatied from fighting that they were bound to lose one, and sadly, the one that was so vocal agaist the war.

for the most part, I agree, but they do help shot down one or two planes in a mission, and they are a real help if you run out of ammo as I did one time.
I think I did it once, or got half way, I have beaten the game on hard or whatever the next difficulty down from Ace is, I dont really care too much bout it though because they dont give you any more details on the plot, like an alternate ending. Also, its not a good measure because I could still beat you in vs. mode at least one.
I finished Ace Combat 5 once in hard mode and twice in ace mode, but I finished ace combat Zero, once in medium,once in hard,once in expert and 4 times in ace mode, and why not: Ace Combat is my favorite game ever.
I'm very close to finshing my list of Jets in Ace Combat Zero, I havent played the whole thing in Ace mode, and I'm not going to, I'm just playing the missions to get the pilot info.
I'ev allready beated ace combat zero in all modes,plus i have all the jets including th falken and the jet pixy flies.but i only need one more enemy pilot to find and innahilate him.
well, I still have plenty of them to find and shot down, but I have never thought about filling that assault records list, right now I'm working on that.

ahh, Alvin Davenport (Chopper) is really a cool guy, while I was playing Ace Combat 5, I almost cried when I saw his jet crashing. I like him the most when he says to AWACS Thunderhead : "I missed that sweet voice, did you get it from your Mama's side of the family ?"
When his jet chashed, I felt sad but didnt show any emo untill after the battle was over, cuz war waits for no one, and when Grimm and Nagase started to go emo, I ordered them to cover me, afaid that I'd lose one of them too. After the battle though, I cried, I let it out.
that's the power of video games and other media, plus i'm just emo, i cry everytime I watch Grave of the Fireflies, Tenchi Muyo 2, Air, The last eds of Hikaru No Go, etc.
Isnt intreresting that when Chopper crashed and the others go emo, you start to worry about them losing focus and crashing too.
Chopper is a legend, who now in my Madden game, has a Stadium in Alaska named after him.

I think I did it once, or got half way, I have beaten the game on hard or whatever the next difficulty down from Ace is, I dont really care too much bout it though because they dont give you any more details on the plot, like an alternate ending. Also, its not a good measure because I could still beat you in vs. mode at least one.

I finished Ace Combat 5 once in hard mode and twice in ace mode, but I finished ace combat Zero, once in medium,once in hard,once in expert and 4 times in ace mode, and why not: Ace Combat is my favorite game ever.

I'm very close to finshing my list of Jets in Ace Combat Zero, I havent played the whole thing in Ace mode, and I'm not going to, I'm just playing the missions to get the pilot info.

ahh, Alvin Davenport (Chopper) is really a cool guy, while I was playing Ace Combat 5, I almost cried when I saw his jet crashing. I like him the most when he says to AWACS Thunderhead : "I missed that sweet voice, did you get it from your Mama's side of the family ?"

When his jet chashed, I felt sad but didnt show any emo untill after the battle was over, cuz war waits for no one, and when Grimm and Nagase started to go emo, I ordered them to cover me, afaid that I'd lose one of them too. After the battle though, I cried, I let it out.

I didn't ever think that I wiould cry because of a game, but this game and that scene exatly force tears to appere.
Really hard to see Chopper dying, espically when Nagase and Grimm's emotions start to appere. He's really a special character : motormouth Chopper !!!

that's the power of video games and other media, plus i'm just emo, i cry everytime I watch Grave of the Fireflies, Tenchi Muyo 2, Air, The last eds of Hikaru No Go, etc.
Isnt intreresting that when Chopper crashed and the others go emo, you start to worry about them losing focus and crashing too.
Chopper is a legend, who now in my Madden game, has a Stadium in Alaska named after him.

I dident cry when Chopper died...i was sad but i was more pissed...i scared the crap outa the people in the room watching me because my skills kicked up and i ended up nearly ripping up all the planes that came till reinforcements showed up...

The F-22 is a purely American Plane. The Russians have a separate program, called the PAK FA, which is what the Mig 1.44 and the Su-47 were born out of. Those were just the testbeds however, and both companies, along with a few others, will work on the PAK FA.

Snow wasn't silent, he did talk, but was more serious, like a male version of Nagase, and no offense to Snow, but he isn't as good as a polint as Chopper was, but mind u, you hav more missions with Chopper, so he likly has a higher kill rank in part due to that.
