It is a very nice looking game I think I will give it a try the colossal sized monster you can see flying around and the height of the terrain really give a feeling of a massive world to play in. Also is this the original soundtrack for the game? it gives the game a nice feel.

yea its the original soundtrack, it's a great game this is from the closed beta, but now it has launched. I don't play it atm since I can't stand to play just one game for more than a month but I will be playing again soon when it seems fun again.

@Neoxejenkins i dont know, if it has a good story, or something, but the idea of this world in aion is pretty good, its really beautifull, it makes me believe this is fantasy, its jsut fantastic, and i dont like, how its implemented, the 3D meshes are shit, it makes me sad, that such a great and fantastic idea of a game dies because in reson of money or something, it could be so beautiful, if they would work more on the details, and dont make square trees or something...

Just got this and I have to say, it's a really fun game. I was a bit skeptical because I thought it was just another Asian mmo, but boy was I wrong. Very fun game-play, and very good graphics.

played the closed beta, that you had to preoder for.

the starting zone had at least 300-400 players.

the city had at least 700.

and thats just on one server.

wasnt empty at all.

There is a reason why those failed, they had no support before they came out. However, Aion already has 3 million players in Asia and has been steady on that for a year. Now that its coming to NA it will already be mostly bug free and has support from the other end of the world making it have a lot more potential than AOC or Warhammer.

I think the mmo graphics comment is spot on. It's so hard to get great graphics and playability together in an mmo because there's just so much to put on screen at the same time and you don't have it scripted so its hard to predict .

In fact they go as far as going heavy on the high details textures on some places because otherwise it would just be too heavy on the graphics card.

Also the perspective helps, you always tend to play zoomed out.

You must be blind these are amazing graphics, maybe you play fps games which have way better graphics because they can, but on a server with a ton of people and a ton of models because the areas are so huge it would not be playable if it had like Bioshock or Crysis graphics. These are amazing graphics for an mmo, and extremely optimized.

I used fraps too :D, to record sound go to the movie section ans under where it says video capture hotkey turn on record sound, also make sure your sound input is set to stereo mix.
