  • wow, soon yong (or how ever it's spelled) has beautiful eyes! i also love how eve pearl did put on a whole bunch of false eyelashes and mascara

  • omg! what a change!!! love it! :D

  • could you make a tutorial for not-asian girls who want techniques to look a little bit asian, please? =)

  • wow that really brought out her eyes!!!

  • Great tips for Asian ladies :)

  • what colour of eyebrow pencil did you use?

  • is there any make up tutorial at all for south east asia??

  • @izzacizzy This technique will work for everyone, If you want a more dramatic look watch our video Be-You-Tified Episode 5 or 6. Thanks for watching

  • very good

  • This is one technique for women who want to create more depth to their eyes.

  • We have wonderful makeup tutorials that are new. Watch my channel and subscribe ! Thank you !

  • I love how simple but effective her makeup techniques are! the more pro you are the lighter your train case!!!

  • sun young looked beautiful either way. nice bone structure. and i love asian eyes.

  • @xxoXYouWishXoxx she does that all the time... listen to shaping the nose.. "and NOW she looks gorgeous"

  • lol this vid reminded me of the grudge a little bit.

  • @ElProximo

best comment i ever saw on youtube

  • @xxoXYouWishXoxx some asians have monolids or creases that aren't really visible (i can't explain it any better than that).. some asians also believe that you're more beautiful if you have a crease/double lids. :P

  • @tadthudz I know. So many girls go out and get that eyelid surgery.:/ Maybe I can't really say since I have a crease myself, but I think monolids are just as beautiful.

  • @xxoXYouWishXoxx I dunno about beautiful, but double lids sure let you have a lot of makeup looks :P

Personally, I have a weird crease (I'm almost monolid since my "crease" is gone everytime I open my eyes). I can't pull off a lot of things :P

  • @xxoXYouWishXoxx some monolids are pretty, some just make people look lazy haha. it's the same with double lids, some look pretty and others just look really alert or creepy o.o

  • @fudgestixles yeah, i agree. depends on the person. there is no real answer to what looks the best.

  • i think eyes without creases are lovely, unfortunately i have one, very small though most of the time you can't see it

  • you don't need to create a fake crease! just define your eye shape that is all.

  • Just because a person has monolids doesn't mean their eyes are small. I'm Korean and I actually have pretty big eyes. It's the rest of my facial features that define me as 'Asian-looking'. I love my monolids though! Love doubles too, but I would look wack with doubles XD

  • lol im chinese/vietnamese and canadian

i have double eyelid but my eyes arent rly the same x.x

my left eye is like vry good since u see the double eyelid...but my right eye well...theres like one eyelid on another one x.x sometimes its perfect like my left eye but most of the time its one skin on the other one so kinda suks =S

  • it is funny because I love asian type eyes as well.... they look exotic = ) having a crease should not even matter

  • me too! ^__^ but putting on eye make-up is annoying with single lids -_-` oh wells, i love the shape ^^

  • I love asian eyes, I don't understand why some asian girls don't like them, it's my favorite type of eyes :)

I lost a kiss, it flew to search your asian eyes because they are sooo pretty, my kiss couldn't help it ^^, if you see it send it back, I miss my kiss ^^

  • i guess i've seena hundred tutorials lyk dis one, and i gotta say this luks better on an oriental person dan wen we try to make a really heavy fake crease. i actually do the trick where i tilt my head back and put a darker eyeshadow into da hollows of my eyelids xD i'm vietnamese btw :] and i naturally have a double lid and deep eyes

  • You're actually lucky. I'm a Vietnamese too and my eyelids are virtually non-existent.

  • what about asian-american w/ partial "smaller" crease?

  • Could anyone suggest any other videos on how to make europen girls eyes look more asian-alike? (the almond shape I mean)

  • She has great eye brows!

  • The problem is when people say Asian they're only referring to the North Eastern Part (China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan etc...) What about here in the Southern part (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia etc...)????

  • i totally agree with u!! most "asian" makeup are catered for either south asian (the indian subcontinent) or east asian (e.g. korean, japan, china).

none cater for our part of the world!! nonetheless there are some great makeup gurus out there who are from that part of the world: xteener, itsjudytime and michelle phan. hope that helps you!! :D

  • @sarahszss yeah thanks!

  • @JoeloveLovelle

I know right! Probably becuz nobody knows much about those. I'm like a filipino :)

  • @XoXoLaLaLandXoXo what a coincidence!?! I'm a filipino too... :))

  • @JoeloveLovelle this technique will work for most eye shapes, try it!

  • there isn't even a crease where she "defined" it so it just looks awkward!! He natural asian eyes were prettier watch tutorials by asians who know what they're doing :]

  • i completely agree!! i think it was way to much liner applied in the wrong way. it made her eyes look smaller in my opinion. she def has beautiful eyes though [:

  • lmao..im asian but i have eyelids..not as big as western eyelids but what the heck..i work with what i have and it turns out great..i dont line my bottom line because it appears kinda awkward...(:

  • @ladypurple2009 hahahahahahah but asian's eyes r so small!!!!!!!its not really defined!!!

  • i wish i could be asian sooo cool!! and pretty!

  • @sandy199513

what happened?now white girls want to be asian?

  • that would be nice.. well at lest i will love too be asian

  • lol, dont you know that many asian girls want to have caucasian features.especially the nose. i thought white girls hate asian girls, because they think they all look the same

  • jaja, yeah, kinnda weird, but

they are not soo alike, and even if they are, that means they all are pretty. well, just wanna say that the hair, tone of skin and those stuff are pretty, the other thing is that yes, you get tired cause there almost the same

  • I wish I had asian eyes!!!!

  • lo, can I have your eyes ?

  • @relaxbear2

    why?

  • imo asian eyes w/ double lids..theyre just prettier than caucasian's ....:p

  • Don't mimick - work with what you have.

  • As anyone with asian eye's knows, putting on eye make up the conventional way most other people do just DOES NOT WORK or LOOK FLATTERING. It has NOTHING to do with looking more like a white person.

  • Asian people are beautiful!!! I don't understand why there are tutorials to make them look more European? Ditto for Africans, Indians. Just go for what looks best on YOU ladies!

  • Ever heard the phrase, the grass is always greener on the other side?

  • I agree with KrystalSeven, it's not about making your eyes look more European or anything, it IS about what looks best on yourself. It doesn't matter what your ethnicity is or the type of eye you have, it all amounts to the same thing: you're defining or changing something about your look. Its not about I want to look more white or I want to look more Asian, its just I want to take what I have and make it better and better just differs for different people.

  • Thanks for your commens. Good point! I hope you can share your view point with other young women.

Yes, I agree. Like I said -- do what looks BEST. I just think someone once said "to give the illussion of a crease, do this..." and people came to the conclusion that having creased eyelids was better. I would much rather see a tutorial that shows what works best for a particular eye color/shape than one that says here is how to look like this (which we know won't even work for everybody).

  • Tell me why these tutorials make them look more European , my friend? these are basic make-ups for all kind of people .

  • eve pearl is the bomb

  • Hi!

  • dunno why most east asian girls chose surgery than this kind of eye makeup. just use dark eyeliner or eyeshade and put on mascara... and voila. small eyes will look bigger.. as simple as that

  • what's wrong with monolid?

  • it's so easy to apply .... thx u for make it easier

  • Comment removed

  • well im black and follow asian/ or smaller almond shaped eye make-up because most other eye tutorials over whelm my eye and round face cheeky. (my eyes r asian like but with a defined crease) and because of my skin color i can pull of the black/dark liner look without it looking to overwhelming.

personally i think defining your crease with make up is fine! just like bigged eyed people do, but using glue or surgery to do so is a bit extreme.

still i think asain eyes are fab and beautiful^.^

  • too much eyeliner :l

  • true and it doesn't mean dat we're wearin makeup becus we're not happy wit our look :P makeup can do different thing like make us look different. and kinda make us feel confident ^_^

  • lol her eyes r kinda huge o.0 i dunno but dats wat i see :P haha

  • gosh she has beautiful face bone structure

  • considered asian? she's asian...

  • love this video... great tip! =)

  • 1. I am dead

    2. You are next

    3. Someone will kill you in the next 5 hours

    4. Post to 6 other videos or youll die

  • ur dumb.

i am asian i think i would know. why are you always lecturing? especially on youtube..

  • Wait. I think I see what you were actually trying to say now. You meant that she SHOULDN'T use an asian model, right? But you used the phrase 'should you NOT...?' which usually implies that you should do something. E.g. 'should you not go and call him?' = telling the person that they should. So yeah...misuse of phrase. And you didn't have to get all iffy about it. You realise that on youtube it's quite easy to misunderstand comments, because they lack the expression of a real conversation.

  • Well if my comment affected you soooooo much and it was going to kill you if you DIDN'T reply back then hey by all means reply back to me shit but if it was something small and meaningless... then go about ur business and let small shit go! :)

  • Right...then why are you replying? Why don't you take your own advice and "let small shit go" if you think that's how it should be? Unless you're hypocritical as well. I already was nice about it in my second comment and cleared up how it was just a misunderstanding cos of your wrong phrasing. But then you have to come back and be all immature and sarcastic in your comment. Grow up and try not being so nasty all the time. Reply all you want to this, as I know you will.

  • lol, you 're calling your comment small shit

  • yeah i laughed myself too. :/

  • holy.

    this is gold.

  • wow i like it,.. i'm an asian and this tips help me,..

  • I can't really....tell a difference. :o

  • really? you can't tell a difference?

I think the "after" picture looks way better

  • omg.this woman is amazing

  • I have 2 creases but one is uneven.

the uneven one is a REALLY TINY crease o_o

People think I'm weird cause of that >_>""

  • i have asian eyes n im latin xD...dont kno where they came from..but its nice to know the best way to enhace them (:

  • its because latina culture is made up of asian, spaniard, white, and something else.. which is why some hispanics have chinky or asian looking eyes and why they all look so different...

  • I know alot of people that have asian eyes that aren't asian at all.

    Come to think of it;;

I don't like how they call these kind of eyes "asian".

I'm full asian;; but my eyes look rather western.

  • just wanna say for people who keep calling the no-crease thing some asians (but not all) have is monolids.

  • asian eyes r good for make up, cos single eyelid is one style, they can always make it double by using eyelid sticker or glue.

  • Wow

  • well, to answer you, I don't think filipinos have eyes any different from other Asians of that region. Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, etc all have that eye shape. You may consider just following eye tuts for eyes w/ a crease.

  • this is one of the best tutorials for asian eyes with little or no crease. Simple, clean, just great! I shall apply this to my models.

  • Omg! Same! I can't to cool stuff with eye showdow though :(

  • OH EM GEE IM ASIAN TOO!!!

AND I ALSO GOTS NO FOLD IN MY EYES =D

    ima try it x)

  • eve pearl love your videos I love the way you make up

    you are phenomenal!

  • Those eyes looked FIERCE..

    Gorgeous.

  • I would appreciate it much if Eve Pearl would actually find an Asian person who does not have any crease at all because a lot of us don't have it and it's actually really hard to do eye makeup. How to apply eyeshadow for one thing.

  • I am half asian & caucasian, and I have no fold in my eyes. I tried Eve's creating a fold and it does work! I have never used liquid eyeliner, I always use eyeshadow and line with a flat liner brush. I will try Eves technique with liquid liner.

  • that black liner along her bottom lash line made her eyes look smaller.

  • thx for the info... this really looks great!

  • I hate how many people see the only kind of beautiful eyes as being big, round and Caucasian. I am European but I have got quite Asian-looking eyes down to the shape and the fold. I do have a double eye lid but it's very small ie when I wear eyeshadow you can't really tell if my eyes are totally open. I still remember someone at school implying my eyes were not attractive but I have also had quite a few compliments on them and am happy with how I look.

  • Your eyes sound like they are shaped like cat-eyes... small but but with double-eyelids, in my opinion... they sound nice

  • Thank you :)

  • I think people want what they don't have, you know? I mean, I'm so envious of my Philipino and Japanese friends, their eyes are so beautiful! But they think the opposite and they like my eyes better!

  • True and there's no one eye shape that's nicer-it's so subjective. I used to really wish mine were bigger but now I am not bothered.

  • i aint saying asians eyes are misshapin. infact i think asian woman are smoking

  • 1. copy and paste

    2. send this to 2 other videos.

    3. hold your breath for 10 seconds

    4. press refresh twice

    3. LOOK AT YOUR HANDS

  • I'm from Vietnam n my eye lid have a fold on them....most vietnamese hav it

    well

    in my case

I hav 1 and a half of a fold on each eye HAHA

if I wear eyeshadow, when I look straight u just simply dun c any eyeshadow at all

u only get to c my browbone n near dat area :[[

  • I am caucasian and I would do any thing to look asian. Asians are so beautiful! I don't understand why they don't like their eyes, nose etc...

  • I don't really see how her giving the gal a crease would be un-Asian-ifying her. She's beautiful either way, I think it's just to define her features more - in the result picture her eyes really pop, in part because of that shading. By outlining the eye it really defines the exotic eye shape even more, in my opinion. ^^ So pretty.... wish I had her eyes!

  • While i find all of these videos to be very informative, i must agree with some of the comments posted here. Many of the makeup tips seem to subtly hint at creating caucasian features for oneself, rehardless of race. Why is that? Our view of beauty is so distorted it's sickening. I really hope someone on Youtube will show how to 'enhance' not just 'hide/change''

  • jeez like everyone else going all ballistic im asian too. yeah my eyes arent as big as my friends but my boyfriend doesnt complain so i cud care less. guys like the exotic look and i dnt get why other people dnt

  • im asian and i'll admit my eyes arent big and they have no double eye lid..

and truthfully, i dont like it

but for people with eyes like mine, i dont think that kind of makeup will look so pretty..

i guess that lady there has a bit of double eye lid lol

  • You may love your eyes, but a lot of asians don't. They even go as far as glueing their eyelids to have a fold so they look more caucasian.

Eve is just trying to help with people's insecurities.

  • "looking more caucasian" doesnt sound right to me. when caucasian celebrities undergo surgeries to shrink their noes or straighten their hair we dont hear people saying they are trying to look "more asian" but when asians try to make their eyes bigger they are trying to look "caucasian". hmm makes me wonder.

  • i agree with you!

  • Not all Caucasians have big and nice eyes, do they?

Only Caucasians have folds on their eyes?

  • of course not only caucasians have folds in their eyes, people that are middle eastern, african, latino...etc. descent all have folds in their eyes. so yea, it's not just white people...

  • yea every single race has folds in their eyes. Chinese, Japanese and Korean ppl do too!

  • im asian . .

but i don't really like my eyes .

  • this is offensive, making asian yeyes more subtle- meaning less asian?

  • I'm asian but i'm not in the least offended by this. get that stick out of your ass

  • I saw a video on youtube where an asian girl used some creepy tool on her eye to give herself a crease. it really saddened me that she couldn't love her exotic features, but some people are unhappy with how they look even when they are beautiful... in extreme cases its called body dysmorphic disorder. not all looks are going to appeal to all people... if i did a video on straightening my puerto rican hair... i am sure someone would be offended.

  • "...and be confident with her eyes"...what does she mean?

  • I agree. i may have taken it the wrong way but i thought it was offensive

  • that mole is disgusting...get a better asian face

  • normally a good look for asian girls, but this just came out looking really 80s.

  • I totally agree

  • Don't Asian people like their eyes? Why would they want to create a 'crease' to make the eyes more beatiful? That's silly. It's kind of like she's trying to say that tomake Asian eyes look pretty they have to look 'un-Asian'

ie. the crease.....Maybe I'm thinking about this too deeply or reading into it too much but anyway I was just trying to say that Asian eyes are beautiful as they are, crease or no crease.

  • i want asian eyes, they r gorgeous, yh i get what you mean, she is trying to unasian her, jus like she tries to un-whatever their race is, in the other vids lol

  • I think Asian women have the best eye shape for a smokey eye. If you think about it, defining the crease on an Asian eye doesn't always look good, but give them a full on smokey look with lashes and it always looks great. I did like Eve's look, I think it's great for everyday, and I disagree I don't think it's an outdated technique, and I don't think she looks like Connie Chung. Besides Connie and many others had bad makeup in the 80's... Do ya'll remember Oprah back then?

  • im asain to and i just simply get covergirl brown eyeliner i put it really closelt to the top and then smudge it with the end side, then i put it on the bottom not to much though cuz then ill really look asian making my eyes look smaller and then i aply mascarra it works out great for me and u should try it and tell me how it works out!!

  • Is this 'Asian makeup technique' outdated or what...

  • i concur

  • when is this make-up technique going to stop? not all asians want to look like connie chung. take a look at the asian stars...they do not have makeup like this!

  • you guys don't know what you are talking about..she looks great. Obviously she knows what she's talking about since she has been in the makeup artistry industry for several years and has worked with several celebrities

  • I beleive we were just giving our honest opinion. I think she would want to get better at what she does and obviously not everyone is going to like the way she does makeup. =)

  • wow....she obviously doesn't understand asian eyes...the full bottom line closes the eyes in and makes them even smaller....

  • wow I have to be honest that looked horrible. If she liked well that's good for her but that didn't make her look like she had a crease

  • I totally agree. TO make the asian eyes a deep crease does't mean just darken the colour where the crease is. That would be too fake looking, and also weight the eye down.

  • MOOOOOOLEEEE

  • this will really help me...coz im asian...

  • lol no shit ur asian?? :P jk im asian too :)

  • wow. =)

  • Harsh.

  • I'm sorry. PLEASE DON'T READ THIS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on 10 videos in the next hour. if you do, tomorrow will be the best day of your life sorry... i hate these things...didn't want the risk lol

  • she looks like she has a black eye =/, people should be proud to be themselves...

  • Pinoy ka ba or pinay?

  • i like asian eyes. they're cute

  • what kind of medium shade did you use? like the brand and color.

  • shes beautiful!! Eve is awsome. I love the model's eyes as it is...

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • sweetheart Princess Looking For Erotic Time

    fastloverfun . com

  • I love all Eve Pearl video except for this one. The make-up made her look older. Her single eyelids made her face look young. There's no need to create a crease on those eyes.

  • Eve has some great tips. I cannot believe the amount of criticism on her videos. So many people saying too much make up... If you don't like too much makeup then don't watch make up tutorials..

  • Im an african with asian eyes... I love em though. Em make me unique...

  • me too!! it's from my mother's side of the family but most of us, especially the females, have it.

  • It's great 2 knw that im not alone. No one else in my fsmily has it and i think 4 me it was just a freak of nature kinda thing.lol. anyway, trying 2 learn a few tips hoping they'll b helpful... learnt that a dark eyeliner can make a BIG diferece. ;)

  • I wish I had asian eyes

  • gurl you dont wana wish that they b makin fun on them...

  • how ignorant can you be? Youre the only one here with negative thoughts on beautiful asian eyes. I wish I had asian eyes, they are beautiful. Makeup application is amazing and the outcome is unique and gorgeous. Just like Asian women. Stop hating and embrace the different features of people!

  • Gurl just mind ya own biz..

  • Dummy, you replied to my comment. So dont expect me not to comment back on your ignorance. Fool.

  • You dont make no sense...

And I aint say nothin bout asian

People dat gurl shouldnt wish to be

Somethin she not and they do get made

Fun of..I aint say nothin I felt was wrong so you can just go suck a dick..find SOMETHIN better to do..

  • sexy mama she looks awesome iam asian and i think iam going to do that too,,... but i wish i had some eye liner with me~

  • What's happening here? I am viewing each video showing different tips and all I see here is utter criticism through the threads? Huh? I think the make-up artist is good and the enhancements on these features are effective. It gives you good tips if you want to try it out.

  • why would she want to have a crease when asian eyes are naturally nice with a crease. The song on your video says you gotta be yourself or something like that, yet you want to put a crease on her eye.

  • this is very helpful thanks for this video!!! =)

  • Great vid, but lining the bottom lashline seems unnecessary.

  • she looks fierce with this kind of make up..

  • ew i dislike eyeliner..makes me look too fierce

  • i do the same eyeliner technique as that

  • She has too much makeup on

  • why on earth would we wanna look caucasian?? we secretly think we're more beautiful than them... u know? we're just improving our exotic-ness. fool.
