@ZaAmOOnA If you're talking about the lightning elemental, there is room with one of those plants that you have to strike to open its petals. Do that close to one of the walls, jump on the plant, and you can reach a platform with a door on it. Sorry I can't be more descriptive, but search around in the large rooms with the plants.

@belmont1960 In the Garden Forgotten by Time, there are big rooms with those plants that you have to whip to make the petals open. When you do that, you can jump onto the petals and use them as platforms. In the corner of one of those rooms, there is a door that you have to jump up to using the plant petals as a springboard. I'm sorry I can't explain better, but it's been a long time since I played.

@belmont1960 I had to look this up because it's been so long. You have to find the Unlock Jewel in the Pagoda of the Misty Moon. It's in one of those dark platforming rooms (where you can fall and have to restart). When you get it, you can find a stairway in the main castle (not in the actual stages) that leads to the Prison of Eternal Torture. There's a door down there that is "Sealed by immense power." You have to use the Unlock Jewel to open that door. Good luck.

When the Medusa called her serpents to come me, I'd get up close, jump up and hit her with a weak combo. If you did it right, it would keep you up for the better part of that attack.

Still, your skill at this game, is pure awesome.

Instead of dodging against Medusa why didn't you perfect guard all her attacks? It's probably the easiest character in the game to perfect guard. In the stats menu of the game where it shows "Perfect String." Every game mine will be extremely high because doing perfect guard on all her attacks.

@kupomogli It probably would've been easy, but I was playing on Crazy and didn't want to risk it. Also, this video is two years old (at this time), and I haven't played LOI for a long time.

I used to do boss rushes of these guys in Crazy Mode. I just Perfect Guard all of Medusa's strikes. Sometimes she fakes you out after the first two attacks. Medusa also does a Stone Gaze after a "Damn you!" which makes it a lot harder to deal with. If you can master Perfect Guard, it helps you significantly in these fights.

try fighting the bosses on joachim mode without dieing and getting hit, its possibly close to impossible to pull off unless your insanely good.

Hmm, that's worth going for. Usually in Boss Rush I try to set certain stipulations for challenges such as Food Only (no potions) or something similar. Challenging yet reasonable.

Its in the Dark Palace of Waterfalls (I think that's the name). Its a darker colored room (brown, not red or blue) that turns white as you ascend with several places that you can jump up on to, higher and higher and you have to whip some railings to go up.

Yes, that's a bad description, but I can't think of how else to phrase it.

Wait...So it's that place where there's like a brown door that doesn't open and in the middle of that door and some other door I have to jump and use the whip? Because I've been there before but I've completely forgotten it.

There's a brown room in the Palace of Dark Waterfalls, and you can jump up on some platforms, and there's some railings to help you get higher until you're up in a snowy area. You'll know it because this room doesn't look like any of the other recycled rooms in the stage. Sorry to be so vague.

Another way to avoid Medusa's snakes is to double-jump at her and air combo her; you just need to time it right.

When I first got to Medusa in @CRAZY mode, I was surprised by her increased number of swipes. Ironically, she was the only boss I was able to take down without dieing once...

It's in the Garden Forgotten by Time. You have to jump off of one of the Mandragora plants onto a ledge in one of the big square stone rooms (with the softer music) to get into the room that leads there.
