You guys are WAY too harsh on these 2. Mickie and Gail are the best 2 wrestlers in North American mainstream wrestling. This match was awful, yes, but even the best make mistakes. Gail knocked herself up by accident, and Mickie showed her emotions too much because of the ending and how Gail was REALLY knocked out and didn't know what to do.
I bet these two will give a PHENOMENAL match at Final Resolution. TNA is really lucky to have Mickie and Gail (and Winter & Tara ofc) on it's roster.
@FalledAgain It's sort of sad, after what TNA did to Daffeny I am wary of the ladies joining them. They give excellent matches but sometimes the risks are too high with little/no compensation. Besides Gail and Mickie left TNA before for a reason. WWE sometimes take good care of their talent as long as they are in the limelight but the divas division has been ruined w/ no-talent models and PG rating.

Actually, there are just a few no-talent Divas left in WWE. All of them can look believable in-and-out of the ring. It's just the resources they're given; almost no screen time - short matches, no promo-time and storyline development (at least before Goldust took charge) was really really poor.
@FalledAgain I'll admit you're right with that. I'd kill to see the Diva's main event once again. But even with the capabilities the writers just aren't booking and using talent right. I really really hope that this all changes by next year. No more 30 second squash matches just for the sake of story advancement. How come I've failed to see them do crazy highflying moves(look up the shooting star leg drop or the spiral tap), falling off 20 foot high cells, juicing themselves, or any other hard ass physical challenges men have done. Japanese company or american, women do don't and can't do half the challenging things male wrestlers have done.
I think the most obvious fail, other than the "blocked" DDT, was the spin kick that was turned into an elbow strike instead.. It's obvious that she missed the kick, yet Gail reacts, and of course, Micheal Cole says she caught her on the chin... Announcers! Save face when the wrestlers miss something, and break away from the script for a moment. Or don't call the move at all, and pick it up when they do one right.

@WWErocks971 The ref's job is to count someone's shoulders down on the mat for the three count to end the match. That means he has to put himself in the best position to see both the person's shoulders. It does not happen often but depending on how close the pin takes place to the ropes or the angle the ref may have to go outside to establish better position for the 3 count. Good refereeing by this guy.

You guys are WAY too harsh on these 2. Mickie and Gail are the best 2 wrestlers in North American mainstream wrestling. This match was awful, yes, but even the best make mistakes. Gail knocked herself up by accident, and Mickie showed her emotions too much because of the ending and how Gail was REALLY knocked out and didn't know what to do.
I bet these two will give a PHENOMENAL match at Final Resolution. TNA is really lucky to have Mickie and Gail (and Winter & Tara ofc) on it's roster.

@FalledAgain It's sort of sad, after what TNA did to Daffeny I am wary of the ladies joining them. They give excellent matches but sometimes the risks are too high with little/no compensation. Besides Gail and Mickie left TNA before for a reason. WWE sometimes take good care of their talent as long as they are in the limelight but the divas division has been ruined w/ no-talent models and PG rating.

Actually, there are just a few no-talent Divas left in WWE. All of them can look believable in-and-out of the ring. It's just the resources they're given; almost no screen time - short matches, no promo-time and storyline development (at least before Goldust took charge) was really really poor.

@FalledAgain I'll admit you're right with that. I'd kill to see the Diva's main event once again. But even with the capabilities the writers just aren't booking and using talent right. I really really hope that this all changes by next year. No more 30 second squash matches just for the sake of story advancement. Have the other divas wrestle then bring out whoever to advance the story.

@LadyBern That's all true, unfortunately.. At least Maxine, Tamina and Chickbusters are getting screen time on NXT. Since they are quite possible the "future divas" they need all the practice they are given. It's great, that they're given time to really get chemistry and all before hitting the main rosters full time.
And yea, thank god for indies like Shimmer, WSU etc. And without forgetting all shows in Japan.

It still takes a real talent to make it look believable. Wrestling is like a TV Series, or a Movie series. You can be a die hard fan of any of those. I bet you at least one of you two watch TV and are excited for what's about to happen or who's gonna die etc etc, without CONSTANTLY telling people it's fake.
Besides, it's not fake. It's SCRIPTED. Know the difference.

How come I've failed to see them do crazy highflying moves(look up the shooting star leg drop or the spiral tap), falling off 20 foot high cells, juicing themselves, or any other hard ass physical challenges men have done. Japanese company or american, women do don't and can't do half the challenging things male wrestlers have done.

I think the most obvious fail, other than the "blocked" DDT, was the spin kick that was turned into an elbow strike instead.. It's obvious that she missed the kick, yet Gail reacts, and of course, Micheal Cole says she caught her on the chin... Announcers! Save face when the wrestlers miss something, and break away from the script for a moment. Or don't call the move at all, and pick it up when they do one right.

@WWErocks971 The ref's job is to count someone's shoulders down on the mat for the three count to end the match. That means he has to put himself in the best position to see both the person's shoulders. It does not happen often but depending on how close the pin takes place to the ropes or the angle the ref may have to go outside to establish better position for the 3 count. Good refereeing by this guy.

its not scripted. they decide the winner before the match by someone known as the booker and wrestlers make it up in the ring as they go along .
