@yonek2008 Nope, this version of the Allison relies on raw horsepower and a single stage ,single speed supercharger. That whistle your hearing is air going through the radiator, which has a beehive pattern to it, inside the cowling.

I wish I were able to learn to fly one of those magnificent planes. Used in all theatres of war. Rugged and at the on set of war, just about the only plane we had.

the allison was not used in afrika rolls royce did, yes it was dreadful why no supercharger.
