This lap and all 98 til 2004 cars are ridiculously amazing to watch in comparison 2010 cars were very boring to watch 2011 pirelli tyres are making F1 look a bit more spetacular but 98 99 and 2000 cars were amazing to watch
@MetaKnightsKirby I wasnt talking about the racing but how spetacular they looked and how difficult was to drive this ferrari in 99, sliding everywhere.
If he's given a car capable of great things (like this Ferrari) and is given the track outside a racing situation, his is undoubtedly the greatest racing driver the world has ever seen.
no shit, all this KERS crap and drag reduction systems, combined with the idiocy that is the leadership in F1 is killing the sport. NO United States Grand Prix is the worst part of it. Nearest stop to here is Canada at Montreal
@Hiei2k7 That changes though next year with a ten year stint in Austin, Texas. Although whilst a smart move weather wise to put Austin at the back end of the season resulting in 2 trips to Mexico for the cars (The cars are flown in and out of Mexico City and then trucked to Montreal as it is cheaper to ship the cars as freight into Mexico and then truck them to their destination than to just fly them to the US or Canada directly), given Austin is not somewhere the teams would want to be in June.
i like senna 1991 same lap time with gated shifting and a sick v12...
these era of cars are sick aswell....

the car looks like from 2000...
4ThaDoctor6 1 month ago
@4ThaDoctor6 Definitely 99, in 2000 the car had a white front wing and Schumacher had his red helmet.
supercas46 1 month ago
@supercas46 ah you're right! but i think at the beginning of the season in 2000 he had a blue helmet :)
4ThaDoctor6 1 month ago
@4ThaDoctor6 confusing alright, he first wore the famed red helmet from Monaco 2000

Very nice lap. I have to admit I am not one of Schumi's biggest fans but from a driving point of view he was impressive.

in my eyes these cars will have no sound in 10 or 20 years because they're 100 percent electronic

I've always loved Martin Brundle's commentary/analysis! Such knowledge and precision - just like Schumacher's driving on this lap! :-D

@QOTSAPT I prefer 2008-2010 to 2001-2007 personally due to a lack of TC, although the first few races of 2001 had no TC (not legally anyway)

@8watawat its the fia regulations that suck. no engine development. silly moving wings. etc etc.
f1matt 1 year ago 34
@f1matt The FIA aero regulations are worse than movingh wings and no engine development. They're what makes it nearly impossible to pass.

@InuKun2008 Thank Jeebus they're coming back to the states, and not only that, but real close to Arkansas so I might actually be able to go!

@Hiei2k7 (Cont.) The teams hate it because it adds to their expenses having to return to North America for a second time in the season.

davidcalducho 1 year ago
@davidcalducho Nope, can't be. Because it's the 1999 car, Barichello came to Ferrari 2000. And it's Schumachers Helmetdesign.
