One of my favorite Touhou themes for the amazing melody of 0:55 - 1:50. The rest of the theme is ZUN-quality, but that minute really stands out, even among all the games of the series, the dozens if not hundreds of songs.

This is one of my favorite Touhou songs mainly because of the MIDI sounding bass melodies in it. None of the remixes i've seen have the bass part in it though :(

Chen must be pretty awesome to be the only 2nd stage boss to be in the extra stages :)

This is such an enchanting and uplifting theme.... reminds me of a village with beautiful landscapes and scenery all around.... which I believe is what Zun wanted to convey... and my favorite 2 stage theme of all time.

Hey, does anyone understand the reference in the song's title, about the "Legend of Tohno"? I think it has something to do with the legend of Mayohiga, which is the magical place that the Yakumos live in, like maybe the guy who found the lost village of Mayohiga was named Tohno? Can anyone clarify?

Tohno was an adventurer that once got lost in the mountains. While he was lost, he wandered into a village that was devoid of other souls. As he explored the houses, he decided to take a common bowl with him as he left. When he returned, he brought with him the story of the village and the bowl as proof.

The Bowl has given him great fortune since, and many other adventures went in search of Mayohiga (the village) for household objects so they too can share the luck. No one has seen it since.
