Affinity really doesn't matter for weak weapons. Only heavy hitting weapons.

are you a total dolt? affinity matters for all weapon, its 25% extra damage :S for duals 25% extra damage with something like 60-70% affinity will shave minutes of your time.

Thats not what I mean't. You know that weak weapons can do little damage each time you hit? So lets say the SnS slash does 30 damage. If that critals, you add only 12 damage...Now, if you use the full GS charge, lets say it does 200 damage, you're adding 50 damage. But! Even if you crital like mad with a SnS. Note 4 critals add up to a Whole Hit. Note, thats just 50hp damage extra. Is it 25% more damage, but do the real calculation, and doesn't add up high.

it will add up if you have a good affinity rate. the Naruga weapons with 80% affinity will fuck anything up alot faster then something with the same raw and no aff.

Well, Naruga weapons would only have that affinity with armour with RA+3. But, take note, Naruga weapons are now some of the strongest weapons to use. Because of it's attack power, Purple Sharpness and High Affinity, it's just like Akantor with 2x the sharpness. And it's a rarity-10. Theres a difference between weak weapons then some of te strongest.

yes, but you're grouping weapons into strong and weak based on what they are gs, sns, dual swords hammers etc, ofcourse a SNS with 10 raw and 100% affinity is bad compared to a SNS with 100 raw and -10% affinity. But any weapon, weak or not WILL benefit ANY weapon, deny it all you want.

No one has a good video on how to beat the HR6 Black Gravios. I have that scythe, but the esp armor i have has a defence of 201 so it doesnt last very long against it, mainly because of its stupid fire farts. Im trying using a light bowgun now but I have weak gunner armor thats weak to fire(vespoid armor) cuz im more of a blade user. One beam hit and im dead.Any tips on either blading or gunning this thing w/o needing to buy new armor?

samee im stuk on tht blk sht aswell, hr6 1 is soo much harder, and i too am tryin 2 use a light bow gun but im more of a blade guy... and worst of all im using kut ku gun armour cuz i cba 2 get a whole armour set 4 1 monster. however 1 tip ( from some forum ) is try stayin on the right of it so the fire beam never hits yous, and when it screams... well ur prob ded n e ways unless u outa scream range or got HGE

Haha my friend I finally figured out how to do it. I used the Felyne Mask (Bomber)A remobra belt (Torso Inc(doubles chest skills)) and a Hornet Vest, guards and leggings with a earplug jewel in the vest and legs. This gives you HGE (and Demonic Protection but it doesnt matter). Its cheap armor that works very well. For the gun, Jade Tempest(For usability with almost all bullets, But you just need something with sleep and poison on both levels). Carry LB+'s LB's and everything you can carry

to make more of them. For bullets, water shots(or dragon but water is cheaper) Crags and Clusters of whichever levels you can get and norms 1 and 2(99). Game plan (Kill EVERY monster in the zones that the gravios travels to) You dont want to worry about them when facing Gravios cuz they will FUCK you up. And they respawn so make sure you revisit each area at least 3 times. Avoid the black gravios until then. ONce its 1 on 1 with BG, poison it, then put it to sleep, then sleep bomb it. Repeat 2X

Then with the extra bombs, place them under his chest when he does the fire breath thing, run away before he fire farts and shoot the bombs. Soon his chest will brake. THen pelt him with Water bullets and crags/clusters. Oh bring a shock trap and tranqs to catch his ass. Basically, if you keep a fair distance, like just outside his tail swing youll never get hit, Oh and watch out for his side laser, make sure that before you shoot you watch to see if hes shooting straight or not.And thats it GL

You should get Sword Saint Piercing and use another armor set, Death stench doesn't give out good skills.

Its death stench armor. The only way to get it is to get sinister cloths from the cat in the pokke farm to get it from swamps.

Better use sleep N bomb cuz the damage of bomb is tripled and bombs does dmg without defense count! ^^ Gs dmg does pack quite a dmg but the Rajang's def.'ll cut out most of the dmg... (-_-!!) tried it myself N turns out sleep + bomb is quicker N faster to pull. I'm sure it'll be easy for ya cuz U got Ur buds to help ya put the bafoon to sleep. (I don't have any friends to play that I gotta bring loads of combo. items 4 sleep s... lol).
