  • i predict its rwhp- depending on whos dynoing in comparison and which kind of dyno it would be- is about 165rwhp

  • Some of you need to do better research before you make wild assumptions comparing bikes. Don't jump the gun yet. Wait til they sell the 1199 and put it on a dyno. Most dealers will receive their shop floor 1199's in April. Then you should start to see dyno readings for the RWHP of the bike. As it stands, the bike puts out 195 crank HP and 98.1 Ft/Lbs of torque. This is a "revolutionary" machine among the design aspects. Just wait to see what happens this next race season in the SBK.

  • Stunning bike, lovely dash, sounds like a scooter though......wish s1000rr had the dash ! {sigh}

  • you prolly didn't get the memo, but last year i specifically banned any dyno videos that do not include HP and Torque figures. a panigale is no exception. (office space guy) yeah, i'm gonna have to ask you to take this down. (/office space guy)

  • Why u put a bike on dyno and do not bring the dyno # on so everyone can se what is so secret? Maybe the # suck? Or u just whana break balls?

  • it doesn't sound like a race bike...amazing machine

  • the rider is covered one to cover his identity and maybe he was riding and doing testing

  • What is the dyno numbers?

  • Ha egyszer egy ilyet tudhatnék a garázsomban!!!!! :)

  • the black looks so badass

  • The rider is way prepared to do just a Dyno run... he even pulls the helmet screen down before starting. -.-'

  • @wsbygt

    Better prepared than unprepared

  • @Xeil I generally agree with that statment, but in this case hes better prepared for what? Its embarassing but HEY... Thats me!

  • @wsbygt

Shit happens. Dyno's aren't 100% fool proof and if it happens to stop while the rear wheel is going 200+mph That inertia has to be transfered somehow. They bike would buck and the rider would be thrown violently. Simple physics, really.

Dyno's aren't something you take lightly, especially on motorcycles.

  • that exhaust doesn't sound stock...it's way deeper than other videos of the bike.

  • Vai Barillari!!

  • how i wish i could hit a jackpot lotto damn!

  • Dream Bike!!!

  • No fan????

  • Good thing he flipped his visor down. Never know if it might fly off the bench. ^^

  • @TurboNosHayabusa1 Its more like 25 more horspower.. Claimed hp for the 1198 was 170 at the crank the 1199 claims 195 at the crank. So it's going to be about 20-25hp difference at the flywheel.

  • Im guessing it will put down 180+ to the wheel

  • Its only gonna have 15hp more than the 1198, don't expect anything revolutionary people

  • @TheCoolMovement Only 15hp more than the 1198??? Damn, you don't know anything about v-twins, do you?

  • @TurboNosHayabusa1 That's what the claimed hp says. Why, what's up cool guy? What do you know that we don't?

  • @TheCoolMovement idiota!

  • @TheCoolMovement It's not just about power. They build the bike from scratch. No more Trellisframe, wetclutch, superquadro pistons, no more underseat exhausts, improved weightratio and centralisation of the mass.

What on earth are you taking about "don't expect anything revolutionary"?

Don't just look at the bhp, look at the biggere picture.

  • @SicSeb It's a dyno vid, bud. In case you forgot. And the frameless design could possibly be an epic fail. I'm hoping it's somehow not, but lets wait and see.

  • @TheCoolMovement if ducati has a crap ton of R&D into the 1199 why would it be an epic fail? have you seen the 'making of the BMW s1000rr' im sure Ducati has done such a thing too. Also, look up the Britton bike- it predates every extreme bike- from ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO

  • @TheCoolMovement You obviously don't even know what you're talking about. The frameless monocoque design is MotoGP proven. Fucking tool.

  • Isnt the 1199 only available in red???

  • Dyno footage without HP numbers?.... pointless and irritating.

  • @calineophyte Read the description mate.

  • @JonTheChron I did read the description and it does not diminish the disappointment of loading a dyno run vid only to be told we are not going to be told the results. It's like a video named "Most beautiful girl in the world" and you load it and she is in a fur coat with the hood up and a balaclava and it's all shot from the back... in low light.... with terrible exposure and bad focus.

  • Ahaha, helmet for dyno test, well done guy's !

  • What should he be wearing, flip-flops? Possibly he is the ideal weight, and now he is wearing typical riding gear, also adding to the weight? Maybe it's like going to soccer practice in tennis shoes without shin guards.. just doesn't feel right.

What if the bike breaks loose? ATGATT

  • numbers? rear wheel horse power?

  • Nice, but not as nice as the EBR1190.

  • Why is he wearing full gear just for a dyno?

  • I. Want. One.
