...Sith, that panel on the snowspeeder comes off to mimic the damage that Rogue 2 (?) takes when Luke asks him to take down the next walker because he's lost his gunner. (Zev was the pilot's name.) Remember, he gets blasted and the side of his speeder goes flying off....

There are Money collectors...not real star wars collectors who are just in this for the money it will adventually bring..

Then there are real star wars junkies who collect these for the passion and love of the movies...I myself open everything and toss nothing..i keep cards and boxes..

For now! when space is needed guess what will be the first items to be tossed?

Boxes..they take up display space and are nothing more then saved garbage!

Great review, as good as allways. I really want to get this, as it's my fave SW Vehicle, it's just so awsome! This vintage line is great, making the old figure again, giveing them massive updates!

this is my absolute favorite starwars vehicle, and this new version is far superior than the previous incarnations. the best thing for me is the overall smaller scale of this ship, smaller and more accurate, the figures do now rattle around inside like with the older snowspeeders, also love how you can dump the stupid misile firing cannons and harpoon for proper scaled guns. i love this thing!

and in Canada, we can get the vintage box version at Zellers and the shadow of the darkside pretty much anywhere else which it's where i got it but going back to my local zellers to get another one for the vintage box...awesome review

Because then I might aswell just buy a bunch of empty boxes. What is the point in buying something, especially a vehicle, when you can't even see it in the box. I'm all for keeping stuff in it's packaging, as long as you can see what is inside.

He doesn't need the boxes his room looks awesome already with the figures on the shelfs !!! Anyway we all have different ways of collecting and different opinions !!!

This is absolutely awesome amazing -it's been greatly improved upon since the 1996 version by I believe Kenner. That's awesome that you can actually switch the harpoon guns for screen accuracy. I like the screen accuracy gun better. The cables for the firing guns are always too short. One of my favourite reviews by you, for sure, Steven!

Don't forget to point out that the exterior markings are all painted on. I really like that there are no stickers to apply on the outside. There are stickers for the cockpit, though.

@TheJosh4635 I'm canadian and want the snowspeeder from The Vintage Collection too. I think our best bet would be to get it from ebay. But Zellers is sort of the Canadian Target so you should check there too. I think I heard something about at the end of october Zellers or Toys R Us was getting this. Hope that helped.
