No it is not always $2.50. Have you read the adsense? I have adsense on a couple of my websites, its any where from $.05 to $5 per 1,000 views.

you have to get a fair few subs and video veiws, the veiws you get for your videos the more money google makes, so they find people who are getting many veiws for there videos and partner them to keep making more videos. SO yeah, you make videos u get a certain amount of veiws google will see that ur making them money they partner you to make moe videos so they get even more money and what they get from ur videos i think they give u half, not to sure about the money
