  • "get out and push!" -- one of the funniest lines at the beginning.

  • The writing and timing are superlative. Genius.

  • this is how me and my friends are with work

  • At 1:51 I was expecting the whistle any second! Those fools are arguing about time when a train is bearing down on them and their carriage is stuck on the main line!

  • I feel you don't get the humour

  • Unfortunately, not many clips available, but this shows Will Hay and his cohorts in a good light- great stuff!

  • what engine is that at 2:17?

  • @mabmb1987

I absoloutly love "Oh! Mr Porter" its a fabulous film!

Here's a bit of information you might like to know.

The engine seen on all express trains is an LSWR class X6 4-4-0.

Gladstone was orginally built for the Kent and East Sussex Railway orignally (Northiam No.2).

Station Master Porter's train was headed by a LSWR 0395 class 0-6-0.

  • that's YOUR falt!

  • NO ITS NOT!!! >:^' LOLZ

  • The coach was still on the mainline at 0:36

But Gladstone is coupled up to it at 0:50

  • amazing film will hay was the funniest man in comedy history, i think its appauling that his films are never on tv anymore, they are all pure class especially where's the fire.

  • One of the funniest films ever made but these 3 genius comedians never seem to get mentioned at all. Me and my family used to watch the Will Hay films in the 70's. They were brilliant and still are! British humour at its best!!!
