I work with these cars, and believe it or not, these cars have had this dash problem for as long as I can remember. From 20 yr old dodge caravans, to brand new town and country. Same problem. You would think they could at least try and fix this issue in all this time.
Was the baby crying because the car is a piece of junk?

unplug the battery for 5min to around 2hrs.
then it should be ok.
