Perfect game. I played it for the first time in 2003 o.O on a Pentium III o.O without an emulator. My USB joystick also worked fine. o.O

Sorry for doublepost but I forgot one thing. Why you have clouds in this game? In my they don´t appear! But I know all these years ago I also had clouds. Hmm but I really don´t mind about it because I´m still happy that this game works! ^_^

Did download the game from Abandonia and play it with VDM Sound. It works nice like in the old days! Also with my joystick! I have also the 2nd Red Baron but it crash sometimes :( Red Baron 1 is so full of action and just a good old fun game. Also very realistic. I lvoe it. The one point I don´t like is that in campaign you just have one mission every month so it would be better if I could fly every day a mission :D Anyway the best flying simulator I played in my life.

i didnt even watch the vid before my first two comments but after watching, your terrible at this game i was better in third grade. think about the dinamics of dogfighting you just shoot at what you see you have to think about whats behind you too

saddly the most realistic ww1 flyer ever not that its bad at all, but new games just add speed like its going to make it more exicting but it just sucks. not what this kind of flying was about. ernst udet is my hero by the way

this game offered me the most intensive gaming experiences ever. memories... we even built a ww1 look-a-like airplane replica with my friend, although it had skis on it.

@Rautas78 I liked the 'death = end of campaign' idea, you where super super carefull not to die. And, that you could duke it out with aces now and then, who challenged you while playing the campaign. I remember sweating like mad when famous aces dare me to face them...

You can get Red Baron 3D, the modded version of the game so it works on XP, although you have to use a special kit thingy to make teh sound work. However, this kit isn't hard to find.
