After the 1st expasion i was like "mmh.. ill give a chance" and it was not that bad.. then wotlk came out and got filled with kids and stupid ppl, but the gayest thing were that tey've made the game so easy to play that a raid of 25, 11 year olds can do icecrown. I miss the old wow :(

One since Ner'zhul's spirit was fused with Arthas' I would imagine that he perished along with him though in all honesty I can't guarantee that.

The second reason is because even if he is there are two major differences between Bolvar and Arthas. For starters he doesn't have Frostmourne to twist his soul and secondly Bolvar's personality isn't as easy to corrupt as Arthas' was

I think they are doing this on purpose, killing of major names from the lore as they 'put an end' to things while they work on their new as-of-yet-unnamed MMORPG that will replace WoW.

After all, if there is nothing left in WoW to kill or interact with in any way, why continue to play WoW and not spend money on the new one?

Also, killing old lore characters spares them from thinking up new lore.

They can always make new lore characters, just like they have throughout WoW already. 2. After the War at the Wrathgate, the Red Dragons burned down the whole place of dead corpses, but Bolvar was alive, and got affected somehow by the flames, dont rly know :D.

3. He got captured by the Lich King, and was planning to become the next lich king. :D

After Arthas murdered his father he met Tichondrius who told him that Frostmourne was empowered to steal souls, and that Arthas' was the first one it took. Arthas' only reply to that was: Then I'll make do without one.

Technically Nezerul is no longer in existence. During the 4 year sleep that arthas was in, he squashed Nezerul to become the Lich King on his own. The reason he did not become a good lich king That some would complain should have happened, was because frostmourne stole his soul. Basically he is pure evil.

For whatever reason Arthas liked the cold. So the scourge had an affinity with it. Bolvar Fordragon was put in that state due to "the dragon's flame" so his affinity seems to be with fire.

Presumably overtime the scourge will become fire based and there will be flameknights or something

I on the other hand learned of Arthas and his story in Warcraft, before WoW... Knowing alot about this game doesn't necessarily mean you sit in front of the monitor all day.
