Why is Red Alert 2 better than Red Alert 3?

I really liked the story of Red alert 2. Throught both campaigns you got the feeling that you were doing the difference. And in any moment the enemy could give a counterstrike. Even in the very last mission.

In red alert 3 the campaigns are pure shit, For instance the soviet campaign. In only three missions you get rid of the Japanese invasion. Then a short attack in europe and you drive the allies out of it.
