Come on, how many things have we seen where the couple in the beginning of the movie/tv show last a while then break up and some other guy comes along? What happens? Ohhhh yeah, the original couple ends up back together!!! How often is it seen that a man makes a bet or is told by a superior to act like he likes a girl and then he actually falls in love with her, she finds out, gets upset, they break up. THEN THEY GET BACK TOGETHER AND END UP TOGETHER!!!! Can't wait!! Eric is just a phase!!

@Sarahcu14 I believe that's true for the show. Not for the books, though. The author of the books has already said that it seems that the show and the books will end differently. In the books, Bill is kind of abusive, and he really hurts Sookie. True Blood Sookie may be dumb enough to go back to him, but not SVM Sookie. In the books, her relationship with Eric is much strong, intense and stable than in the show. Of course, many of the things Bill does in the show are done by Eric are in books...

when i first watched trueblood i actually was obsesed with bill (if u havnt red the book and dont want to no whats happend i advice u dont read on) but when i did read the book and found out bill is a bastard and cheats on sookie annnnddd rapes her, i hated him and now i am sooo lovvin eric he is hot hot hot and actually is a nice person , who hasnt read the book realy needs to because it is amazing !!

@stargalelle Bill is perfect for me in the books! Hate Eric in them. Bill is sexy as hell in the first two and then his personality changes for no good reason. Eric is a bastard in the show, and thats more important than the books. Most of the books are pretty rubbish - werewolves and tigers are lame compared with vamps. I am English as well, and if you really are, no offence but your spelling and grammar leave a lot to be desired.

You only have to read the words Sookie uses to describe their sexual encounters: scared, angry, grabbed, pulled, shrieked, sobbing, tore, awful, turmoil, rage, shoved, forcefully, kill, dismay, regretting, sex...

When she describes her love scenes with Eric se uses: gently, emotion, lover, kissed, slowly, leisurely, made love, best, right, holding, beautiful, laughed, relaxed, pleasure, perfect...

@2muchsugar1 The show is based on the books, so the fact that you say the show is more important is laughable.Sorry, but the true story is the one that's written in the books.Without the books, the show wouldn't exist.I like the show, and I like Bill in the show, but TB Bill is an invention.Same as TB Eric (though I love him in the show too).

Oh, and of course Bill's personality changed after the first two books.He was trying to deceive Sookie, was he not? He was lying.He wasn't being himself.

Ya know I might hve been more of a Bill fan instead of an Eric fan if they had let Bill look as good on the show as he does in real life. But Eric in the books is my dream man and once I read those there was no turning back on my love for Sheriff Eric Northman!
