this is the dumbest chainsaw video i ever seen .pardon me but its the fruitiest fucken thing i ever seen .and and u are trying to sell a man a chain saw fack..i will never look at my husky the same way ever again great saw to good for this video im the proud owner of a 445
stihl and husky's are different saws, they appeal to different people, in mym opinion, they are the same, other people will have different opinions
both are the best makes out there, stihl have a wider dealer network, the are like the aston martin of the saw world, mass produced with a certain amount of quality, husqvarna are like the bentleys, best quality slightly more expensive
How come Husky quit the old work horse 51 and 55 saws? Or the 345? Now the smaller saws I use building log homes only got one stud on the bars, no compression release, Zama carb-how about Walbro and a loop of recycled beer can Oregon chain stretch and dull right now shit! First thing the new Husky gets is loop of Stihl chisel! Quit trying to compete with Poulan wild F... thing and build a saw a workin man can make a living with!!
Rrright, that's not how we do it in the real world. Tools are a great thing but don't over complicate the job by trying to find a specialty tool for every little thing. Ear muffs make your ears sweat, so we use ear plugs. Face shield restricts your vision, I suggest safety glasses, the kind that don't fog up. And who cuts 8" firewood?
This video is a demonstration to show the practical application of Husqvarna products. TSHGM recommends following all safety instructions contained within the literature provided with the product.
While every attempt is made to produce safety equipment that is comfortable personal comfort is secondary to safety.
I know, but for god's sake, "who cuts 8" firewood?" its true. for that kind of stuff you don't need a hat, not even ear plugs for that small of a saw.
@TSHGM The guy's just making a point on how the video doesn't reflect reality. And he's right. The only reason for all that over-blown safety equipment is to reduce liability should an operator get injured.

a chainsaw is the most dangerous thing you can buy without a licence

A prostitute can also be bought without a licence and can be way more dangerous than a chainsaw.

I agree.
It's just like the brand wars with dodge, chevy and ford trucks.
Everyone has their favorite, but they're all great

How about showing a 3120 with a 36 inch bar buried in a fir that would sell saws not that thing they had in this video
jj3449 2 years ago
Because this is a marketing video for homeowners and amatures.
not for professional timber fallers that already know how a big husky cuts
And a 3120 is major overkill for any timber out there, other than ancient redwoods lol
