@jackbuse the minimum calibre for roe deer in scotland is a .222 with a 50 grain bullet. It was .243 in england but i think they may be bringing it in line with scottish law!

@shaun4m Yeah and I only had a shotgun, which is illegal to shoot deer with in the UK. I think the minimum is a .243 or a .222, not sure though.

A video camera is about the only thing you should shoot this sort of animal with.

What an amazing opportunity to see deer so close!
I have to say that even if I had a gun in a position like that I may well not take the shot and just enjoy the chance to be so close for so long.

There are three points on each antler but does that mean it is 6 points then?
