The claims they made for shooting him were bogus, they claim they thought he had bulletproof vest. They even claimed they saw a muzzle flash. Since when does a wallet emit a muzzle flash? Thats a laughable claim. And Amadou diallo even had bullet holes on his feet, showing that he was shot even after he fell down. They also ramsacked his house afterwards in an attempt to find something to justify the shooting.

NYPD- Mr. Diallo was not committing a crime. The Street Crimes Unit for which these cops worked for had come under heat for stopping and frisking people for no reason. This was another case where they were just stopping a man for no reason and it ended up with him being shot.
