I like all of the hipsters commenting on We Are Scientists being mainstream like they didn't get half of their playlist from DaKahdra or Balock. Or the original indie rock playlist. About 70% of music that you listen to will get ruined eventually, by radio or otherwise. Besides, if more bands like this were mainstream the music industry would be better off. You'd be forced to listen to GOOD music on the radio, instead of, "THE DJ CAUGHT US FALLING IN LOVE, OSHITGURL."

If this song went mainstream, every 10 year old would stop listening to Jason Derulo and Justin Bieber and they would say "We are Scientists are amazing!" They wouldn't have heard of them before the song went mainstream then more and more of their songs would go mainstream and people would get bored of their music. I still listen to them because no pre-pubescent child has gone and completely ruined it for everyone else how listens to them. Still loads of good artists who aren't undiscovered.
