Solar Cooking in Africa - A Remarkable Technology Transfer

The purpose of the 'research' is to locate and test more durable materials in prototypes to determine which reflective foils last longest in a harsh desert environment and which ones are most resistant to moisture. We also need to test different clear plastics to find out which ones don't create toxic gasses when heated to cooking temp and which don't get cloudy after long exposure to UV rays in the desert.

There is NO reason to donate for RESEARCH - there is NOTHING to research.

What IS needed, is to use BETTER materials and designs to make glass mirrors, and glass and enamelled pots, and to make and distribute them.
