Though it switched it up quite a bit, I do like the rip from Mike Hodges HS Pasic solo...or maybe somebody did it before Hodges...anyways, Matt could have done really well playing this in I&E.
Matt Bowers is from Elizabethton, TN. He marched with the Garfield Cadets in 2006. If you watched the championships last year, then you know he's legally blind. He's amazing.
From what I know from talking to him, he wanted to march the most badass tenor line. He also wanted to join a little more laid-back of a corps, Blue Devils being a great choice.
this guy was probably the hardest working tenor player, he was legally blind for christ's sake.

He is really good. But theres a big margin between him and bachman and jackson

But they don't play marching percussion... On kit, yeah sure. But I'm not sure how good Mangini would do on tenors haha.

but...
im 13 and i'll kick your ass behind quads or a snare bra.

Wow you're a freaking idiot.....
maddmatt361 3 years ago
Why do you say that?
THe guy is playing quick theres not doubt about it.
But he's not playing a steady beat.
sosafan021 3 years ago
May I see a copy of your solo so I can make a genuine comparison rather than take your word for it?
coatssnare 3 years ago
i havne't any.
i play snaree.
and i play a kitt.
but im a pianist, guitarist, drummer, and I play the chello.
sosafan021 3 years ago
Of course knowing this answer long before this, I definately think that you have a lot of growing up to do. And you definately cannot outdrum Matt.
But being ignorant is a part of being young so flow on in it, flow on.
coatssnare 3 years ago 2
whatever you say, hotshot.
sosafan021 3 years ago
Hey, you come and talk a big game, why not be able to back it up. It's ok though, I'm sure that you can out guitar or chello him.

You're two years late to that party sir. But you just keep on keeping on.
coatssnare 1 year ago
Dude, it wasn't meant to be a "steady beat". Dynamic and tempo changes can be a part of drum solos. By the way, it's "cello", not "chello"...
robotchimp 3 years ago
I'll believe your musical prowess once you learn how to spell the instruments you supposedly play.
It's spelled "cello" you arrogant dumbass.
BryceSommer 3 years ago
wow kid ur dumb
if you really think you're better than him, then why don't you go buy the solo, take a video of you playing it, and put it up as a video response?

he looks so bad ass, the way the lighting is making his eyes look just black
