  • i can only do one, i can't keep going continuously:(

  • @danceloverxox0 The most common reason for that is that tappers son't push off as hard or travel as hard on the second one. Push harder and travel more and you'll have better chances:)

  • @musictaps thanks :)

  • I got the double ones with two feet i mean. but I can never get the ones with one foot! HELP!????

  • @frenchkitty1000 Leg strength plays a big part. Lots of practice will strengthen your leg and in about 2 weeks you should be able to do it. Also:

    1. Travel backwards a lot more

    2. Keep the ankle somewhat relaxed

    3. Don't point your toes

    4. imagine a ball touching the back of your bent knee. When you do the pullback hit the ball hard with the back of your knee (not too hard).

  • Thanks! I've been trying to do this for six weeks. The lifted toe was key.

  • @dlbk45 Glad I could help. Took me 3 months to get them when I first started:)

  • what is the trick to getting the first spank sound? cause i can get the step, but when i try to spank back, it makes a scraping noise, then i step....

  • @wendyblue7 Make sure your ankles are not too tight. Make sure you are traveling as far back for each one as you can. Don't squish your toes up inside your shoes. Don't point your toes. Keep your legs and ankles a little on the loose side. Good Luck!

  • I'm currently learning this pullback in my tap class. It is very tough for me, because my feet can't seem to spank the floor quickly enough after traveling backward. I'll just keep on trying and hopefully I can get it down soon.

  • Thanks for this video....this is my third year of tap, and I still have a lot of difficulties with this step!!!! Both of my feet don't seem to want to work at the same time.

  • @iDance4expression This is a hard one. It took me 3 months to get these! Loose ankles and traveling back a lot help the most I find.

  • @musictaps ok, now that u say it took u 3 months i no longer feel frustrated on this one, been like 1 week trying pullback and double flap, they are the most tricky steps i seen until now in my 2 months of tapping xd

    later.

  • @DLZandorfRamash The biggest thing for the pullback is to travel REALLY FAR. Also don't squish your toes inside your shoe.
