It was the last race (SS600) of a great racing day at Assen in 2002. Through oil on the track from first bike (blown up engine), several bikes went out on unexpected places in the GT-corner. The medical marshall was severely hurt, broke his leg and had a though revalidation. Finally he was fully recovered and he is still a medical marshall on the track!!! Respect!!
The rider was cristian kellner for yamaha world supersports team. Not suprisingly his team manager banned him from viewing that footage until the end of the year!
