  • Great video and wonderful training job! What type of muzzle are you using? I'm going to start muzzle training my GSD and want to know which one is best for that type of work.

  • That is the real protection work! I love it!!! Super!!! Thak's a lot for this video! :-)

  • Nice to see training n the muzzle and then the use of the hidden sleeve. the line work during the muzzle work can be improved. keep the drag even and a bit tout and don't pull the dog back to you at the 19 second mark. Just saw she is a PPD wow, most police k9s don't do as well in the muzzle.

  • @scalisema

Glad you liked the video, training and dog. Thanks for your advice, you're absolutely correct. I've learned a bit more since then. Glad you like Xena's work, she was only 17 months old at the time that video was made. She's now 3.5 years old and matured nice. She's still 100mph everywhere though. ha. Winning this year's UK working/service dog of the year with a 3 year old PPD bitch, has made the hard work worthwhile. Thanks again.

  • Good dog!

  • Great routine. Its neccesary to rain with a hidden sleeve because a lot of dogs get confused if they are suppose to bite and dont see a classic sleeve.

  • awesome drill! Nice way to end it too! Xena has incredible confidence!

  • good god that's impressive and realistic...

  • thats what i like to see a working dog

  • Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for the comment. She really puts her heart & soul into protection work. Very 'civil' bitch. Nearly 18 months old now, and becoming a fairly good PPD.

  • best video! really nice work! she bites like a tiger!
