  • In forgeting himself,Maha Ghosananda found himself. The contagious smiles,it had to be compfort in his own skin,no man can take away anything from him, because nothing belong to him...;))))))))

  • Smiles are for free,it cost nothing what so ever. But meant everything to those who recieved it....;))))))))))

  • I think i'll go donate some stuffs in his honor,i seek quality in life, not so much quantity these day....the end is drawing near,i have very little use for material things.

  • I think the word infectious should be replaced for contagious.

  • WTF!!!? this is shit wtf is this

  • I love at :53.....pope and buddhist.....so peaceful when different religion acknowledge one another. I love this song...anyone know the original singer?

  • jendhamuni thank you for sharing this with us...my dad use to be a monk back way before I was born..way back in time, he was born in 1933, around his 20s....this song will remind me of him also...I love you Maha Ghosananda...rip, and GOD bless you above and eternal lifetime!

  • Although cambodia has changed to adapt bhuddist religion more than hindusim but hindusin played a big role in our angkor temple architect, chantings, and apsaras dancers. Cambodia you are beautiful wo a doubt such a sacred country of mystery...yet to be found, discovered, and Re-born. But w all that being said...yes Ghandi is from india....Gaha is our Cambodian great one...our cambodian ghandi. Wish I had the chance to meet you. may GOD bless you above.

  • I thought I was in love with the gayatri mantra but this one melts my heart!! I wish I had a chance to meet this monk..if you see his name, it is of pali ir indian descent. Although the khmer empire is built from hindu religion and I know most cambodians are mixed breeds of india....and we are proud of that. =) My ancesters are indian that infused their religion and path onto cambodia....and it passed onto our loving country of cambodia.

  • Thank you for sharing dear Jarda, May we have a smile like this in life, truly so calming and like a call out for the world and all the beautiful cultures to come together and be ONE. Thanks for posting this gem. Since I love Gandhi I feel this dear Soul is very special and so happy to have met this Beautiful Being in this way.Love and Peace to all. : -)

  • Sadhu...Sadhu...Sadhu...

  • Excellent - do you know who is the singer?

  • I dun no the name of the singer, the song title is Jaya Mangala Gatha which u can find in YouTube 2

  • I think her name is Desi, you can search by 'Desi people to ancient chant jayamangala gatha'

  • It's so beautiful,to see him and the pope respecting each other religious path, one a catholic and the other budhism, they each chose their own path, like two friends shaking hand before taking their own path, the path toward peace, love and compassion. They are each borned with a responsibility and a purpose of guiding us toward the rightious path.

  • A life well lived,he brought so much love, compassion and peace to the world, very much like the Dalai Lama ;),he is missed by millions and millions,i can only wish to achieve what he have achieved in one life time, the love and respect of the world, and he doese it with a big smile on his face and on the face of other around him,i guesse inner peace could only be achieve through caring for others rather then just oneself.

  • I wished my mother had told me who he is,at least just a little bit to know how important he is toward peace around the world, she just told me to drive somdach sonk to stockton temple, she told me to be good and be respectful of his holiness, she said i will recieve much blessing ;)

  • You are so lucky! Take good care of that car! One time my I had to cancel my trip to Canada because His Holiness was sick. I had to bring him to the Hospital. I remember that day so much. And the other time I had to drive him to the Provident Airport at 5:00 in the morning. I had a sport car also at that time. I had to squeeze him in that little car. I was so sleepy, because I only got to sleep for 1/2 an hour. I had many suvenir with him in my life.
  • I feel like my sport car had been blessed by his holiness,i still have that sport car to this day, everytime i look at the passenger seat,i knew his holiness sat on that seat before right next to me,i will alway have that one day with him for all my life.I was only a year out of high school at the time.

  • It's funny ? i didn't even know who he is until years later,at mother request,i took him in my sport car,a brand new spankin toyoya supra turbo,it's all sooped up for racing too,i tried not to go too fast with his holiness in the front seat,he just sat there smiling the entire time,i think he enjoyed the ride very much,it's exhilerating, there's another older Cambodian gentlment with us also,he's the one telling me where to take Moha Ghosananda ;)

  • I notice his warm infectious smile also,he graced the Cambodian temple in san jose california, the zen temple in berkeley california and Stockton temple,i drove him there myself ;))

  • I miss His Holiness so much

    when you brought that up!

    I oftenly see him

    in my dreams.

  • Dear Jendhamuni,

The world and Cambodia are lucky to have one of the modern-day Arahant or Arhat (Saint).

It's like His Holiness is still with us. His youthful look.

Thank you for digging up file.
