PS: how about that amazing Deacon John? What a beautiful tribute to Snooks. Just before he sang this song he was tearing up at the podium telling stories about Snooks. He put his heart into this one.
thanks for sharing this I was/am a huge fan of Snooks with it was deep regret that I heard he passed away. I'm sure Snooks is shakin it up in the promised land!
Sorry I missed his funeral.I would have flown from San Francisco just to be there.

That's really sad, I'd never play at a funeral. I thought it was John Deacon (queen bass player)

Many thanks for this posting. I'm in Scotland so it was a wee bit far to come.
Snooks (and Deacon John) was a great example of the huge amount of talent that was relatively unknown outside of NOLA.
