I really loved those newly shaped leaf tabs and rocker tabs in the mid 1960's, as later they went in color like the XTP, X-77 and T-series Hammond. But they were based on the ones used on the X-66 which was a little different. After 1973, tone wheel organs went to LSI technology on the Concord 2100 series as the leaf tabs and rockers were changed again.
i found a song called sing a new church that sounds exactly like this and when i searched come thou fount of many blessing there was a song called come fount of every blessing and i can't find this
Sometimes when an organ gets old like that and gets removed from the house or church, they sit in an area that is not that well protected from the weather. The organ that you see in this video was built in 1953. And during the 1950s, some of those did get used for recordings for huge record label companies like Capitol Records. Organs like the one seen in this video are antiques.
Organs of that size are useless. You need something AGO. That's what all churches are using now and that's what I have. It is 2 manuals consisting of 61 notes and a 32 note radiating concave pedalboard. Something like that would be much better for you and you could progress beyond the kind of music you are playing in this video.
Not true. Some who may be interested in the history of the electric organ might be interested. This is also about one of the very first electric organs built for the home. This one was completed around 1953.
I care! Great video, thank you very much. Please post more videos of your Hammond organ. It's interesting how rare are videos of Hammond spintets on Youtube.

your good. how long did you take lessons?
BassPedal2009 2 years ago
I really took piano lessons, but my choir director helped me out at my church with pedaling and voicing.

is there a difference between drawbar stops and regular tab stops because they sounded the same?
BassPedal2009 2 years ago
The sound is quite similar, but the tab stops are really called "tounge" stops. The difference is really hose they are operated.

is the sound generated from a computer chip and completley electronic or a tone wheel?
BassPedal2009 2 years ago
By the way that's a T200. Hammond's only solid state tonewheel organ. Churches all over America still use Hammond Spinets.

There's no such as a useless organ, only a useless organist.

I once owned a useless organ: I was allways out of tune and generally unreliable.

The organ at St. Sulpice and others used to have thier full set pedalboard designed about the same way as the one on a spnit organ.
