Anyone who mentions being put off by Dani's" new look", (which is many judging by the posts I read), should just quit listening to Cradle altogether. Aside from the fact that it was ONE music video, (he looks way different in the Lilith Immaculate video), the very idea that fellow fans of Cradle showing themselves to be just as pedantic and pathetic as fans of pop music makes me want to throw up. It sounds like you are all commenting on a new Madonna look or something. Wash your clothes.

A great intro to another great album. I was beginning to think Cradle of Filth was over creativity-wise around that Nymphetamine - Thornography era.

@TheKuroiSheep - I found from Nymphetamine onwards they took a turn in a new direction, a transition which took me time to accept but I eventually did and have realised it as one of many different possibilities of their creative potential. I haven't bought GOTDT nor DDVA but hearing some of these tracks and especially reading up on Dani's lyrics for DDVA I'll be out to buy them both next week. He said they were aiming toward a blend of the ...Dusk, And Her Embrace/Midianesque twixt Thornography

@d3adpoet: I understand that Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder was a new direction from Nymphetamine / Thornography. Now, there were a couple songs that reminded me of Thornography on this album (Decieving Eyes-sonically and Forgive Me Father [I have Sinned]-sonically and lyrically) but the rest of the album is an entirely new direction. You never know what these guys are going to do next. I thought after Thornography that they'd make a worse one equal one yet they blew my mind.
